Should’ve figured Benji would yet again pick Madden to start over Latu. Madden had a good game against the Roosters which means he has the starting gig for the first 8-10 games of the 27 season

Last year they were making a run for the top 4. Then they lost to the Raiders in that GP game in Mudgee. After that they threw in the towel for the top 4, which is why they rested their whole side. This year, they have a MP to win. The Roosters are assured of top 4 but won’t get a home final. You can argue they wouldn’t want to go to NZ in week 1, but there are too many variables that could happen anyway. Resting or not resting players won’t change that.
