In your opinion Latu is better

My opinion is Andrews is and will be the superior halves player

no problem in having a different opinion

unfortunately as latu is tied to sam who is a gun potentially Andrews ups and leaves at next contract who knows.

At present I have not seen much from latu fainu in first grade I would take coby Black ahead of latu as a 7 100% and run with Andrews or even AD (if we still had him) as the 6.

You are missing my point. Im not saying Latu is better. Im saying there is nothing to compare so its unfair for people to say Javon is better when Latu hasnt been given the chance to develop as a 6 or 7 like Javon has. All Javon has done is play one consistant position in a much lower grade than Latu. Javon may well be better, but we wont know until both play in the halves in the NRL. Let's hope they both are freaks. Explain to me how you compare the 2? Ive said this before, but if Javon played some halfback, some lock and some hooker in the NRL people would be saying he is hopeless. Well thats how Latu has been treated, so we cant judge him.

I have like Andrews in his SOO u19's games in the past, I like in general how he plays
what i dont like from latu is his tackling technique for a start and i am not a fan of him as a 7 i would think he would be as a 6
when I then compare the 2 as a 6 i prefer Andrews size and running game to latu's
not saying latunis totally poor i just feel if it came down to having to keep one or the other i would go all in on Andrews.
I think the club needs a solid 7 which I do not think eithwr Andrews or latu are to be honest

if latu plays well next year then great I was wrong and hopefully we make the semis
i just dont think he has the resilience to get through even 16 games of nrl in a row

Thats because he has been stuffed around position wise and had injuries. Thats why you haven't seen much. Watch his KOE cup games in the halves then compare the 2.

That was a very different game one mate. You could see the way he talked, barked orders and took complete control, he is an NRL player. Obviously he wont play that well every week, but he is a genuine NRL half after just one game. He was phenomenal. Very different debut to Brooks.
He left after the Broncos signed Pezet yeah?

I agree his tackling technique is stupid. I hate that. He hits like a tank, no need to go soooo low and risk penalties and injury. Hopefully he fixes that. I have said for years the only way out for us is kids, and right now we sit on 2 of the most talented halves in the game. These 2 could take this club to the top with the right support.

Mate you keep saying this, but any chance Latu has played halves in KOE cup he outshines Javon easily. So if you compare performances in the same comp and in the same position, Latu kills Javon. Yet because Latu has been stuffed around in first grade playing out of position and had injury issues, he is judged on the same level playing field as Javon. Its completely unfair comparison. Not trying to offensive, I just dont see how anyone can say they think Javon is better because there is simply very small sample size to compare, and that small sample says Latu is better. This is no knock on Javon, he may end up way better, he certainly has enormous talent, but Latu has earned first crack. Although hopefully they both get the chance next year.
I heard Andrews interviewed after a reserve grade game where he and Latu played. He said it was so much easier to play his own game because of Latu's talent.

I don't earn 1 mill a year but did a google search and it said you can, who gets your franking credits owed to you if above is the case, provide a link if you're sure.
That's the whole point, the rules change the more money that you make.

Coby Black is the total package, he’s as tough as nails besides his speed, skill and kicking game.
But Latu has all the attributes to be just as good. He does need work on his kicking game, but it does look to be improving.
I know one game on NSW Cup is not much to go off, but the one game they played together was elite, they could not have been more impressive.
My theory which I will always stick by is that young players who are highly dominant in NSW Cup or Qld Cup will always bring that same class to NRL eventually.

Yeah they look well suited as a combo. The big question will be can they manage games, order the troops around and kick well. Big offseason ahead.
I think the intelligence of their kicking games is the main concern and it would be much better if we can find that genuine 1st receiver who is a running threat to assist.
As most of us keep saying, AD would be perfect if he has the right mindset and commmirs to defending strong even under fatigue and that is the part myself and many other doubt he will be willing or able to do.

I disagree with your thoughts on Doueihi there mate. Even with the right mindset he is a terrible option in the halves.

Where in that article is explaining an income limit where franking credits from company shares are excluded, it's automatically deducted by the tax department when all of the external reports are received, you don't need to claim it.

We are clogging up this thread with non-football, if you want to discuss this further mate send me a direct message.

There would be no justification signing a 34 and 35 year old. One would be bad enough, let alone both. It tells you the club see next season as yet another rebuilding/transitional season. After 15 years of no finals, thats unacceptable.
Its says we cant develop our juniors, despite have one of the larger catchment areas in Sydney
It also says we cant attract solid NRL players unless theyre in their twilite years

He is a terrible option in any position if I'm being honest ....his defence isn't good ....when he does pass its generally to a player in a worse position ....and he doesn't realise his biggest strength is his size.....you'd keep his goalkicking and that's about it

You can't be serious Col .....we are probably at least 4 to 5 players short of a finals side

I really think this is an unknown mate. Yes on the surface its hard to argue with you. However, if you delve deeper into it, we may not be far off a premiership team. Yes, saying that out loud sounds ridiculous, but stay with me for a second. Lets say our forward pack stays fit and motivated all year.....they showed at their best they not only match the opposition, but they destroy them. Let's say Bula fully fit and after going through a tough year flourishes and plays to his potential. Let's say Averillo on the right and Taylan on the left have career best years. And finally, the big one, let's say Latu is as good as I think he is and stays fit, and Javon is as good as we all think he could be.

Throw in Brailey enabling us to play Api less minutes and I think we could be anything.

I know there are a lot of ifs there, thats why I certainly wont argue with you that we dont have the roster, but potentially we do IMO. After today's game I may be singing a very different tune lol.

If your could strip him back and say "run hard, tackle hard, thats all you do" he could be a huge asset. But the guy os obsessed with being a ball player.

Clogging up what?

Numbers are true, take the income test and understand how money works. Regardless, it's not a big deal, and I'm unsure why you poked your nose into this conversion.
