What do you folks think about Munster coming here as a #7 for 2 years on big coin?

Whilst he is a #6, he easily play the #7 role for us with Latu at #6.

Andrews is only 19 and now injured, so another 2 years in cup behind Munster could only help his development.

Given his relationship with Braith, id find it hard to see him coming here (Braith knows we are a basketcase)... so it would only be $$$ that would get him here

I am a fan of Skeleton and he has only played 36 first grade games a lot of upside

He hits the line really hard in attack but will get pushed back or sideways often preventing a quik ptb...no wrestle. In attck and.no communication with him in defence also...but i do like him,.wish he was quicker

I know Gentle has been let go by Manly but he could be a handy GM of football. He was at the club aswell i think for a few years Jedi. Im not 100% sure though.

When Peter Gentle walks through the exit doors for the final time at Concord Oval late next month, he will be leaving as a truly ‘blessed’ man.

Gentle leaves Wests Tigers to take up the head coaching role at Hull FC for the next 3 years in the English Super League.

The popular Wests Tigers Assistant Coach feels he has been blessed in serving his apprenticeship with two experienced campaigners in Tim Sheens and Royce Simmons in his 6 year stint at Concord.

Prior to that, Gentle was the premiership winning...

Does anyone know if the club looks into getting juniors from qld and especially the gps rugby, it’s been a goldmine for nrl players the last few years, personally I hope we look at Derek ahwang I couldn’t see if he was signed to an nrl club, but I think he has a league background and he looks a super talented player

Everyone is to be fair . Most teams top players are locked up . Us included . I’m extremely confident the Fainus is all but done . Everyone talking up the chiefs , but like most of thier players are already thirty and they don’t start for another 18 months . A lot of hype . A lot of rep players from 2025 and before .
The nrl has a very nasty habit of making you look old real quick .
I actually think the bears , whilst being shit originally , have built a squad with a lot of former Aus schoolboys . Granted ones who have failed to launch , but the pedigree is there . The youngest player signed by png is Lomax who will be near 28 by the time they kickoff.

I cannot comment on his last 15 years and whether he remains a suitable option, but I can say that he is one of the extremely rare coaches at WT that have made the finals, particularly twice.

1 He brings a lot of assistant coaching experience including the Kangaroos
2 Benji & he have a history
3 Coached in the Macarthur area in his early days (Camden Rams)

I am keen on Frizell for his professionalism....would also like Schiller for depth. He carved it up at the Raiders before heading to the Knights.

The Manager of tghe Fainu's has issues that need to be sorted with the NRL before they are signed. Will all be done before Nov 1
