Yes those who said Frizell is too old need to watch this final. Played the entire 1st half in the middle, nearly 100m, no missed tackles & effort affter effort. What a competitor!

If we signed him and got somewhere close to that version of him every week, all Wests Tigers fans would be happy.

Let’s say we sign Tyson Frizell who will be 35y.o in October this year, who does he replace from our top 17 when we are full strength?
I know we need depth and I’m all for improving our depth, but I assume he would not be coming to play reserve grade and I’m not convinced at age 35 he will be a better top 17 option than what we already have?

Both Newcastle starting props out and he stood up and lead the pack in an elimination finals game. Not a single one of our bench or depth guys could do that.

I actually quite liked the crew we had on the field in the second half against Penrith, except Sione. Sign a few bog average yet experienced NRL players rather than play those who are too young and with a bit of injury luck we'll be alright. A no to Gosieswki for me, he's below average.

Haven’t seen Frizell play like that in a while and don’t think that’s his every week level, but even close to that and he’s first prop picked if we signed him.

We need a couple of seasoned professionals, but we also need players with X factor much more.

X factor can win you matches even when you don't deserve to win. Create something out of nothing.

Can I put Humphrey's into some sort of perspective

The player we let go ( Sullivan ) is thought by Bennett to be superior than Humphrey's

I'd pass on Humphrey's based on that alone
