I watched him closely last night because some have spoken about him as a possible lock option, so thats how I was judging him. I have to admit, his first carry was powerful and aggressive. His passing slick and his defence strong. Geniune big body. I think those saying he could be a good lock are right. I could see him coming off the bench at 13 for us. Elijah Taylor could work magic with him.

Also Frizzell, wow. If he played like that every week he starts in the front row for us allowing Pole and Sione to be impact off the bench. What a leader he was last night. Frizzell, May and Twal all at their best is a great starting middle.

Yeah I agree about Frizzell ....he was good last night ....Humphrey's looked lost in my opinion

Yes I did watch the game and Humphrey's was slightly better ....I was basing my opinion that if Bennett thinks Sullivan is better than Humphrey than maybe we should stay away from BOTH of them

In the end, they lost. Holbrook had a much better game plan.

Wayne is a legend, but he didn't read the Knights strengths and weaknesses as well as Holbrook read the Bunnies.

Losing Cody and Alex played a major role. However, the Knights bombed a few opportunities, and the score could have been far worse.

I think calling Jamie’s form brilliant is a bit of an overstatement. What do you call Cleary?

Bennett was always very good at deciding if a player in his charge would be staying a season too long.

Yes it would be telling if they do not extend Cody Walker if he wants to play on another season.

6 soft tissue injuries in 2 seasons is a worry. BUT is Cody playing roughly 12-14 games worth it as a bridge to Javon Andrews and being a mentor for Javon?

Not sure what Cody's plans are beyond playing but like Adam Reynolds, maybe a deal could include coaching in 2028. Very smart footballer & well respected.

Cleary is a freak superstar, however Humphreys season last year was brilliant considering it was his first full season as a rookie.

What I will say about Cody though. I always point to Thurston as the perfect example of a guy that played a year too long. Watching him in his final year was sad cos he had totally lost it. And the year before he was totally fine. It just happens over night at that age. Just because Cody was exceptional this year does not guarantee at 37 he’ll still be at the same level. He’s not going to come here anyway, so it’s pointless even discussing it.

Wayne picks his team based on the opponent. He made the decision to play Bud at half with Cody, and then brought Jamie in after Cody's injury.

In the end, this was a young halves combination, and they both did their best in a bad situation.

I still stand by my thoughts that Jamie could be a great pick-up at a good price for us.

But I also agree, that there's no point debating this further.
