Thank god some of our fans are nowhere near recruitment. I thought it couldn't get any worse with our current strategy, then I look at some of these suggestions and think we would become wooden spooners every year with some of their suggestions

People in here are serious about brooks? We have great young halves in latu and Javon who can play the 6 and the salary cap/opportunity to sign and trade Dearden for AD

List the few players the same age or younger “killing it” please.

McLean is the only one I’m aware of who happens to be playing in a champion team.

you only have to look at Casey McLean at Penrith and his turnaround there. labelled a defensive liability, too young and far too green up until about 12 months ago when he magically turned a corner.

don’t be surprised if Heamasi does something similar.

Chris Lawrence was poor defensively in his first season. By the time he retired, his defence was outstanding.

I remember it more like this it took him a few years to learn centre defence and was slaughtered by quality guys like Gasnier. Then when he finally got the hang of if and started to square up he got injured, lost his one asset, speed. Moved to second row and took an eternity to get the hang of that. When he finally started to square up the ledger he got smashed in the face and was never really the same. Good clubman tough and give his all but outstanding defensive player is not how I remember him.
