Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Maybe, and I want Latu to stay, though as the quoted column and the @jrtiger post pertained to retention, the injury concerns around the younger brother make Samuela the key piece.

It wasn't a shot at you, more the article that was originally published about the puzzle being complete. If Benji thinks the puzzle is complete without a first grade half back then I have a bridge to sell him.

Don’t think the storm value him as much as he’d like

They know value.

[hank37w]

So.does Dora lol

He's been so many places there wouldn't be much room left for post codes on his sorry ass.

That's gansta talk from an old guy.

Pretty good 'eh. 🤣🤣🤣

Why is Stephanie looking to jump ship already? Storm are a sinking ship. Pole would be my priority 1. Still very young, could become on of the Top 5 props in the NRL

Stephanie probably sick and tired of having his arse kicked by Bellyache. 🤣

Remember when we signed the Fainu's it was all about Latu signing Sam was supposed to be the sweetener just to get Latu.
How things have changed ey.

Let’s hope 27 shows us all that little Fainu is as valuable to us as big Fainu.

Next we need to sign Fonua and Latu, I feel like he’s a done deal now. Not sure on Pole.
Might seem ruthless but I think we have to be. I think Craig, Hope, Mason, all gotta get tapped. Herbert to remain but only on KOE contract
Where do we stand with Bunty and Hunt contractually- anyone know??

Hunt is in his last year 2027, Bunty was only signed for 2026

Stephanie chasing a premiership….

Isnt that why he went to Melbourne. Im getting Aaron Woods vibes off this guy

Hunt was good this season. On team balance, i'd only have one of Hunt/Bunty in the 17. If both were 100% fit. I'd pic Hunt over Bunty. Bunty would be a good backup prop in Reggies. If injuries strike I'd to have an experience prop come in, rather than a young prop called upon.

If Steff was looking around for a role in movies, there is a perfect character spot for him, he could play the A hole.

Ideally Schuster comes good and can play the 13 role meaning Twal goes into the prop rotation

Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen.

[palms]

Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen.

Your opinion is noted.

The odds aren't great but ideally that is the best outcome for us without having to recruit externally.

He can have all the talent in the world. It means nothing if he doesn’t have the drive. And he’s never shown that he has any.

Do you say this because he ain’t going to come good? Or 13 isn’t for him?
I don’t know much about him, but plenty say he has talent when he’s on.
Kinda hoping he is the WT feel good story next year and he finds his form again and stays loyal because we gave him another shot.

To be fair his physique kinda tells a story. He’s slimmed down way too much to play lock at this stage. I suppose if the club wanted him there they would bulk him up again

[GNR4LIFE]

Did he even show any signs of life in lower grades this year? Even if had just showed a smidgen, I feel like people would be shouting the house down.

He has shown heaps of talent in nthe past when hes on...almost a natural.
Can ball play with the best of them and puts team mates into holes that werent there
I think Benji could be what hes needed for a long time and wouldnt be surprised if he comes out and surprises us all

Pre-season starts 4th of November

[426Tlgerland]

Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen.

Yeah, that ain’t gonna happen.

Yeah I’ve heard he has said no to that position and will take his chances , it won’t happen , still can’t remember where it was but def interview and he had lost a load of weight , I want him to have a red hot go only can be good outcome for us

If he is told 13 is his go he needs to bulk up.
Looking light-on last I saw him wearing a 6 this year KOE.
