I don't think he is the same footballer he was prior to the shoulder injury
And he has become a penalty magnet this season
Hard to say , because I was one of his biggest fans pre injury

For what it's worth Herbie is done at the Roosters from what i have heard... Seems basically every jurno etc has heard the same.
The worst part is that it has been known for months which, as usual makes a complete mockery of November 1. However, PVL and the RLPA will tell you that the transfer market doesn't need an overhaul and isnt an issue but playing in Hong Kong and Tokyo are major priorities.
They think so little and could care less about the fans that keep the game going.

A little concerned we are hearing nothing regarding Fonua. No speculation could mean that it’s a done deal one way or the other - he’s either told us he’s gone, or he's made a commitment to the club that he’s staying.
The talk around Stef leaving the Storm is a concern as that would certainly pave the way for him to return there.

Agreed , but he has 1 career and he lost 2 years . Sure he got his base wage , but he was origin/ test level . Thats a couple hundred k , plus endorsements lost as he was out of sight out of mind .
Also the phins forward depth has surprisingly gone gangbusters. A lot of guys who were middling took a massive leap and repair the faith . It’s made Fleglers 1 mil a year contract look slightly redundant . I guess they figure maybe his salary could be better given to bostock, Herbie and the hammer . I kind of get it for both sides .

If it was a done deal, we’d have something at some point. There has been zero talk in the media about him
His agent is someone ive never heard of so maybe they like to keep things low key
Can you stop turning every single situation that’s up in the air into doom and gloom . He hasn’t signed his contract . It’s nov 1 on Sunday . He might be testing the market , it might be the club has spent the last few weeks getting the Fainus across the line , it might be we are losing a bench prop . Either way , none of that is doom and gloom.
