He is clearly at his best playing 6.
He supposedly re-signed with us for no more than 500k.
Have a think about all the 6’s across the NRL, what 6 would be more beneficial to us and for the ones you think would be more beneficial, think about the extra cost that would be involved with them and would that extra cost be worth it?
Then rule out the ones such as Cody Walker who clearly had no interest in playing for anyone other than the Rabbitohs.
I think you will find lack of talent around our halves is a much bigger problem than our halves themselves.
That issue would only become bigger if we were spending more money on our halves.

2 X ACLs, 1 X Shoulder, 1 X serious groin and 1 X Serious hammy... and people say Latu is held together by sticky tape ......

I agree the bad run of injuries are a problem, but due to his contract value being on the lower end of the scale for an NRL halve and the fact we have a couple of exciting prospects waiting for more regular NRL opportunities, iit will hopefully not be a major problem if he again misses games out injured.

Everyone shit talking Adam but don’t see the bigger picture. The blokes the only one who actually is fed up and wants higher standards? Should he just suck it up and keep agreeing with all the losing tactics? Or is he man enough to stand up and say something. Bunch of bananas

Is one of his higher standards mean he should only play in the halves, how does that work, his hog play means the outside backs catch a cold.

I think sone supporters are under estimating the importance of these type of utility players and overlooking Heath’s speed off the mark and tackle busting ability.
No doubt he needs to improve his defence, but I think you will find there are plenty of better judges than me who are confident he can make the required defensive improvements.
It doesn’t make much sense if we are re-signing him to a top 30 contract and planning on playing him fullback with the emergence of Attard and Bryenton.

Like your positive sentiments but the missed tackles are too much for me. He gets trampled too often.

Right….. and the optimal time for him to make that stand was when he was asking to switch to 13 . And by stand ? It’s not a sit down with the team where he calls everyone out and has some really brutal and honest conversations with the coaches and playing group , it’s walking out and taking the weekend off ….. Amazing leadership. They should teach that . Pretty sure that’s what “leaders eat last” means …

Personally I thought he looked a class above at 6 with jock at 7 until he didnt pass and blew his shoulder. In my opinion i thought adam looked strong at 6 before the injury. Was looking very strong and fit there

Tim n his brother(souths) went chasing more than we offered a few years back , if memory is correct
