    OFFICIAL UFC & MMA Discussion

When will B.J Penn retire, he is a true legend of the sport, but he continues to tarnish his legacy getting pummeled by blokes who will never achieve 1/10 of what he has achieved

Should Pascoe stand down if the players walk?

What i also found alarming about Juatin Pascoe is that we talk about being professional etc etc which i totally agree with but during the press conference to announce Taylors dismissal with Go he was unshaven with no tie. Basically on a huge announcement for the club he looked like he just got...

    Signing Rumours..

I think we jump the gun a little too much here. Rothfield may not like the tigers, a lot of things may be fiction not just about the tigers but other teams in general. And i hate his bias towards Cronulla, but where there is smoke there is fire. The issue may not be about not playing Sironen...

    Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

About all the coaching changes. Australia has had 6 changes of Prime Minister since 2007. If it's good for the PM of Australia to change hands so often, it shouldn't worry any potential future coaches of the Wests Tigers if offered the coaching position

TAYLOR..Tigers can compete with Best in NRL...

Any business that is going bad, there can be no excuses, poor infrastructure or facilities the customer doesn't care, you have to make what you have attractive and appeal to people to stay in business. Taylor has a bad roster, no money, yes but like thousands of businesses (and this is a...

    Marina Go - Members Q&A

If it's in the constitution to support league yes they will. Why are so many bowling clubs closing? It's because they sink large amounts of money in bowls even when the membership diminishes. If a club has 2 grass greens, they cost approx 140k per year to keep up to standard, and if bowlers...

    Marina Go - Members Q&A

It's actually a fact, a licensed club is not for profit, and as such profit's do go back to the community. They can even pay it out of their CDSE (Community expenditure from poker machine profits as a % they must pay if their profit is over $1,000,000)

    SYDNEY MARKET

It's a shame about the titans, but must admit that was before the suns when I was there.

    SYDNEY MARKET

Sorry my mistake I lived on the Gold Coast until 2007, and played in that competition, back then there were 2 A and B grade and when the titans entered the comp they were quite successful. Shame to see how far league has fallen since then. I guess that is the issue with Central Coast, Canberra...

    SYDNEY MARKET

The issue with Central Coast is and always will be Corporate support. Gold Coast and Newcastle have the 6th and 7th largest populations in Australia and are traditionally rugby league heartlands especially Newcastle, yet they struggle with finances and have for a long time. Central Coast yes is...

Think this year is bad wait till next year.

http://www.zerotackle.com/nrl/rugby-league/players/highest-paid-players/ Saying Lawrence on 300k this year and next year

Think this year is bad wait till next year.

I read somewhere that Lawrence is on 300k for next year. Considering the explosion of salaries and the minimum wage being 85k, I really don't see it as a major issue. (though I may be wrong on his figure)

    FURTHER EXPECTED LOSSES

The tigers do a fantastic job with the Jr development. I really like our young core at the moment, I just hope they develop in the current structure and environment. Unfortunately we aren't the only ones who develop talent to see it leave to the more profitable clubs. My concern for us is that...
