He may have been playing in a lower level competition but I think that playing against NRL level players will see him start to compete at that level.. Playing against the best brings out the best in real competitors.
Well, it's true that Liddle was coming off an ACL injury this last season but he still managed to go the length of the field to score....(can't remember which game it was). I doubt that Hodgson could do that but I do see the leadership argument. We still need to remember that Lids was defending...
I agree. The club still has Liddle firmly in its plans. When I watched him play his first NRL match I thought that he had the potential to, one day, be Blues hooker but injury has been pretty cruel to him. I see definite signs of improvement in him and after another off season, look forward to...
Does anyone know of any planned changes to the strength and conditioning department? I have read references to it here but does the club have any changes in mind?.Maybe I have missed something but I haven't seen anything from the club.
I do agree that we don't seem to have have the same fitness...

That's right, Wests Ashfield have said the club is not for sale and why would they sell? The club makes a profit, unlike many NRL clubs and Ashfields core business, apart from the leagues club, is Rugby League. A change of ownership won;t bring more players, we still have to operate within the...
I've been following te Magpies since I was thirteen (now 73) and the Wests Tigers since inception so I can't quit now; I'm all in for infinity and beyond!
