David Nofoaluma #164

I think even the people who rate Brooksy think it was time he had a fresh start mate. Plenty will be backing him to go well because of the way he carried himself during his time here.
Both parties needed a fresh start. It was a toxic relationship.

FK: Was Maguire your favourite coach at the Tigers?

DN: It was Jason Taylor. He always put the person before the player and the team before the players. When my grandfather passed away he was the one that actually brought someone in to help support me. That showed how much he cared.

Brooks also hasn’t had one bad word to say about the club since leaving.

Also didn't get paid a large sum of money NOT to come back to work...

Was offered a new deal,
Got another deal at another club in the NRL
etc, etc, etc...

It’s not about fans, it’s about facts. We’ve lost some exceptional players over the last 10 years. I hope we don’t add Brooks to that list.
It wasn’t working. A change of scenery was needed for both parties. If he kills it that’s ok. We are moving in a different direction.

That answer - JT - says a lot about his footy IQ…not even Cleary rated.( cause he was dropped by him?)…

No, he was already mud before these interviews.
Blah blah blah... you just post the opposite view for the sake of it without any supporting evidence!

Not true!

This last stunt has cost him many of his remaining loyal supporters!

JT did put the person before the player. Jordan Rankin must have been a great person against the Fox who I have met and is a great person and larrikin along with being a better player. We should want to win games more.

Maybe as suggested JT was his favourite because he did not get dropped by him.

I am glad to see the leaks stop from the club and truely believe that Lee was the source of a lot of the noise and Noffa lost his security blanket when he lost his chair.

I do not want to see any statement from the club other than the one they posted when they parted way a few weeks back. Move forward don’t look back as there is not much to look back fondly on.

This preseason has been great and changes that needed to happen have happened, however it may take a little time but I’m confident that we will be successful.

I think he was on the nose since he ce back from Melbourne singing their praises and basically saying he was better than WT back then. It's not a new stench.

He's been shopped for around two seasons now and other than a brief loan deal to a desperate storm - no clubs were interested.

In the article he says he's 30 and open to coming back to the NRL... lol yes, I believe he genuinely didn't want to leave but there was no option. I'm sure clubs will be lining up for a 31 year old, bad trainer x bad attitude winger come 2025.

The awareness in these articles are beyond belief. Farewell Davey
