These regular conduct issues are so disappointing. First, because of them, he is not becoming the champion player he could be. Second, as a true champion player , he would be the great role model and indigenous leader literally everyone would be happy to follow and support.

Thank god we didn’t get him , he would have been rubbish for us , stupid thing is he can play some good footy but he just has to much crap in him , anyway we won’t be able to change the way the NRL look at him he is to loud for them
 
It's a shame that any conversation around Latrell comes back to race. The bloke is an absolute flog and one of the biggest grubs in the game. His shitty behaviour has nothing to do with his race, nor should it be a free pass to be a [This word has been automatically removed]wit.

Agree with this but he has a pocket full of race cards and uses them every chance he gets , wait till SOO time and he is not picked ,

No I agree with you. I’ve got no doubt someone has said some horrible stuff to him over the years but it’s no excuse for the scumbag he is on the field.

We don't want to make this a race debate or anything like that.

Latrell is judged on his character and his actions and he's displayed time and time again, he is not a good person.

He's so lazy and uninvolved on the field.
Hear him claiming he wants to be the best fullback in the video is laughable.
He's terrible.
 
The Journos keep describing Latrell's thuggery as "brain fade" while Latrell himself calls it "brain snap". Does anyone know the difference? In either case, should Latrell be on some kind of medication?
 
He’s not the first player to ever turn into a knob once he crosses the stripe. It’s a shame cos he has it in him to be one of the very best players of his generation. But he’s too damn lazy for his own good. So many parallels to Jarryd Hayne the way he literally spends most of the game in a half jog. His effort and urgency is almost zero 80-85% of the time. I couldn’t imagine having that much ability and having no desire to prove it, week in, week out.

He’s terrible cos he’s lazy. Not because he doesn’t have the ability.

We are lucky that he was never seriously consider to sign for the WT!
IMHO, he and JAC are examples of expensive has beens that would play 100%
once every 10th blue moon!🥲

I think JD is in a... desperate for a win situation and just hoping Latrell will come good, the same as We have been hoping a lot of the blokes we've signed in the past will come good...but haven't.

Sam was smart enough to see Latrell had a problem and refused to back down.

You'd have to think Jack Whighton would have been a positive influence on Latrell but hasn't.
Seems to me JD is the main problem at Souths, while Burgess has done really well with his coaching in England, so I'll be surprised if Demetriou lasts this season out.
 
The strangest thing? I can’t get my head around why Latrell is lazy when he is needed in defence, except of course if it’s a good friend like Manu or Fox? These guys never knew what hit them. Not that they would want any favours, but they must be wondering, how good a friend is he really?
