Wests Tigers Home Ground Mega Thread

No excuse for CSS this weekend they should get a good crowd it is against St George a Sydney team and good weather.
If they don't get 17k that would be disappointing
Only 2000 tickets left so they should have at least 18K in attendance for this game. If I didn’t have to work I would be going but I know I won’t finish in time to get there. But either way a real good result for Campbelltown. Can’t remember the last time we hit that high in ticket sales. Probably 2011 is my guess.

Given it has a capacity of 17,500 I'd say it's unlikely to to 18k.

Great result if they sell out. When is the last time they sold the stadium out?

Why would anyone be disappointed about a big crowd at Campbelltown? It's great that the fans have something finally to be positive about. Wanting to preserve games at Leichardt doesn't mean being pissed about fans going to a home ground game at Campbelltown.
I don't expect all fans to be able to get to Leichardt just like not all fans can get to Campbelltown.

What happened to the proposed ground at Liverpool. I think that would be great. Go to Homebush for a few years while they built a ground in Liverpool. In the South West but between Campbelltown and Leichardt so no one gets chosen over the other and a nrl mad area and lots of Corp support

Richo already confirmed there won’t be a stadium built in Liverpool. Probably because he doesn’t want to spend money on a stadium when there’s 3 big stadiums already to play home games at.

I agree it's great I just get a sense from some here stating its final ultimatum if they do get x amount... Theres a lot of divide still between the grounds

Don’t think there’s many that are disappointed that Campbelltown has a big crowd, just think a lot of people just didn’t expect a crowd that big in Campbelltown given how low our attendance has been there in recent years.

The main thing Richo wants moving forward from what he’s said during the podcasts is corporate seats. That’s why regardless of how much attendance Campbelltown gets this year majority of our home games will be at one of the big 3 stadiums. He confirmed after the Eels game they had 2200 corporate seats for that game. Not sure how much Campbelltown has but it’s definitely not as much. But it is a good result that Campbelltown has got a crowd for the first time in years.
