Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Good to hear another assessment of Andrews' talent. Vicious and BWG raved how good he was when I asked the question as the U 19 highlight real didn't reveal MOM feats.
Will be interesting to follow his development and make my own assessment.
The Qld halfback went off in the first half with concussion if I remember correctly and he carried the entire playmaking and game control on his own in the second half to comeback and win

the Bulldogs 7 recruitment guys can make 7x more contacts than our 1 guy. Does it make sense now?
Im still not sure this is true. Wasn't Gallant promoted to head of pathways and junior recruitment?
To get promoted into the position suggests there is a role below that he was promoted from a lower position. This would suggest there is more than 1 recruitment guy.
I agree that our club, particularly pathways, seems underfunded. I just think there are some unfounded statements repeatedly being passed off as fact.

Bronson Harrison is head of pathways now.

Shannon Gallant is doing the recruitment thing full time whereas before he was doing both roles.

Adel Hage has connections at the club and used to work there, and it came out of his mouth.

Others on here who are closer to the action seem to verify the same info.

Do your own research though and come back if you have anything to the contrary. It's an interesting topic.

Lots doubted that our funding and revenue was the lowest in the league, but I dug it up and showed the receipts. The point isn't about how many recruitment officers we have by any sort of choice. It's the end result of being underfunded in all areas to the point we bring in the lowest revenue in the league and the owners throw a few pennies at us in comparison to other clubs.

Thanks for replying mate, what has it come too these miserable gutless pricks won't even tell you to your face you've been nicked.
Australia is going downhill. This is not a Lib/Labor thing...Howard left the country with money in the bank in 2007 and in 18 years both parties have accumulated nearly a trillion dollars in debt. They reckon 50% of the country relies on tax money for payments so that starts at government workers down to welfare recipients. Totally unsustainable. Add the government overreach into our lives, high taxes and basically giving up all privacy and I don't hold out much hope. Apologies for the rant.

if our pack gets dominated it will be embarrassing I hope Romey revs them up and sniff some glue before the game
Wait... Sniff some glue?

Do you mean alcaholic Glue? Are we trying to get our pack drunk or something??

I thought you would eat chilli's or something. Maybe just remind people that Galvin ruined their season.

These are players i think worth looking at:

FORWARDS

Davvy Moale - PROP.
Think he missed a lot of time injured. but thats prob kept is reputation and price down. Could be worth a contract to give us some depth and punch off bench?

Daniel Suluka-Fafita - PROP. Provides some presence but still good work rate.

Adam Elliot - LOCK/2RF. Brings composure, leadership and link man with some punch.

Ethan Bullemore - 2RF/Bench. Adds spark off bench to help turn momentum.

BACKS

Taylan May - CENTRE.
Just get it done.

Chevvy Stewart - FB/Wing. Currently contracted for 2026 but stuck behind Weekes. High-upside, low-cost backup fullback/wing option.

Blake Wilson - Fast. good finisher. Speed and value. Good wing/FB depth.
I recall bullemore having great impact off the bench earlier this year for manly. Haven't seen much of him lately though.. how's he been playing?
