OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I was at ground level and even the Dogs supporters were saying that he looked scared. We couldn’t see a time where he actively engaged the line and put his body on the line.
You have to cut the kid a break. It was wet. How can you expect him to play in those conditions? It's too much to ask. I don't know why his father didn't pull him off the field. It's a disgrace that poor Lachie was allowed to get his top muddy. I expect Galvin Sr to walk straight into Gus's office tomorrow for a please explain.

It’s pretty much bullying when it’s raining that hard.

Really pleased for Benji, the squad and the club in general, they ignored the ongoing, un-precedented pile-on over Lachie, steadfastly refused to take the medias bait and won the game fair and square. Great to see the good guys prevail with the media sent packing... looking the fools that they really are.

Brent Read was pure comedy at the presser

And got made to look the fool that he is at least twice...

Read: "we all see the improvement in this football team..."

Benji: "YOU do?? Write about it."

The overrated man-child never recovered from this - and hopefully never will...

He will. Galvin is a good player and probably did himself a strategic favour yesterday in tough conditions. He basically did nothing so no one can actually bag him for making any mistakes. He didn't put himself in any position to really cop it from WTs players during the game either. Good outcome for all involved IMO.
