OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

I hate to say this but I think Galvin might have been right, although the sleazy way he left the club was dishonest and hurt the credibility of legitimate bullying victims.

I am yet to see a player improve under Benji. They all seem to be either treading water or going backwards. Galvin could see the writing on the wall and jumped before it was too late. The players don't improve and the team always looks disorganised in both attack and defence.

If the NRL coaches were ranked, Benji would be ranked last. He came to the WT at a time when there was no one else and he did his best with no experience. For that, the WT should be grateful but ....

I don't know the answer. How about the Walker brothers?
He was 100% right.

A serious coach and organisation doesn't sign Luai or re-sign Koroisau until he's gonna be almost 36.

A real organisation prioritises Galvin, Latu and Da Silva developing together and with Bula, forming a spine we can keep in tact for the next decade.

if we don’t sign Luai or api we have 0 leaders and a spine of 19 year olds who should’ve still been playing cup.

The team almost always seems to go well early in the year before all the teams have organised their systems, but then their form falls away badly as the season goes on. There's almost always a false dawn ... this is the year that the Tigers turn the corner ...

You can’t rate rookies. The players you look at are your Twal’s, Seyfarth’s, Pole’s. None of them have improved. If anything, Pole is regressing.
Pole was in career best form prior to his injury, was he not?

As for Twal, he's a one trick pony and I don't think anyone can do much more with him... He's like 28 or 29, how much more can he evolve? I like him as a bloke, but he won't be in the NRL after his current contract ends..

Seyfarth has looked better on the edge when we are dominating the ruck and it creates spaces on the edges.. again it comes back to the stability of our spine and depth in the forwards.

Another way to look at it, is would Bellamy have Twal or Seyfarth playing any better, with the same cropmof players? Probably not

No we'd have Koroisau until the end of 2026. We would still have Doueihi around filling in the halves where necessary and probably would've signed a veteran half.

Then in 2027 the three of them would be 22 and Bula 25.

We did prioritise two of them.

No one hates Lachlan because he didn't wanna be here after 2026, it's the way he left with the whole bullying thing and signing an NDA.

He'll be a wanker for a long time.

Penrith would pick up players like Twal & Seyfarth and have them doing their job well in a well drilled team, much like Garner and Eisenhuth who everyone said wouldn’t make it into another first grade side when they were with us.

And we would probably turn martin and sorensen into the giraffe and twol

Yeah he was solid yesterday....maybe one poor kick in the negative column
Those hoping terrel or pole will snap him next week will likely be disappointed...it would.lokely have to be a late shot as he gets away a lot of early ball.
Lodge tried to rip his head off yesterday...he did a better job on Salmon tho.
Good judge of character Lodge
Some are still stuck in the 80’s like someone is going to go Bob Cooper or Les Boyd on him. Everyone knows at absolute best there will be a bit of push and shove. Cheap shots don’t exist in this day and age.
