If you did a 3 year third party deal with Adam Doueihi and in the 3rd year he went to New Guinea you would technically still be obliged to pay him, it is supposedly strictly a deal between the 3rd party sponsor and the player, nothing related to a particular club and applicable regardless of which team he is playing for.

That's my understanding at least.
It really, it would be your own contract. If you paid him a 10 year 3rd party deal you could always have a clause saying our company strategy needs it to be a tigers player so if you leave this third party agreement ends. Which would be a credible clause if it was say a business that primarily operates in tigers heartland. Or it was a save the tigers charity, or this forum or frosty cereal (tony the tiger) or any other link as to why being a tiger is what made them marketable
