The old management would have a press release saying we are announcing an elite playing signing on Friday 5pm
Then at 5pm announce that we have signed Bula for 27 and have the nerve to try an justify it as a new player

Its a make or break year for Benji but realistically "make"means we keep moving up the ladder...
We probably arent going to quite reach the 8 because we simply havent added a lot of talent(KPP..?) plus the same old coaching buddies who cant make a difference are still there clinging on
,but real close to 8th will be a pass mark..
Going backwards or even staying at 13th will be terminal
If so,Benji wld be compartmentalised by the media as an effective recruiter but an ineffective coach

Someone with experience and from outside the 2005 playing group would be refreshing.
I personally have a 9th or 10th finish, KPP, Bunty are great additions, we have slot more depth on the edges in 2026

Seriously if we got him on the cheaper end, Great. Yes points to work on, but something we can work on.
Infact it will show if our coaches are the real deal or wannabee's. A good coaching staff should be able to identify players with weaknesses and train those weaknesses out. Lets see.

reserve grade at the best club in the comp. i thought he would been a decent enough 14 to rest api so he doesn’t have play 80 mins every week. would’ve been cheap too and more experienced than hope

Correct, however in comparison. We also lost Luciano when the cap was smaller for $700k per year.
The price is fair, but could turn out to be a bargain, if he performs.
