The reported deal was 650k I wouldn't call that a small contract but we're all hoping he is a good signing.KPP is not a big money recruit we actually landed a pretty good deal with him.

won't be far off the median with the cap going up from 2027 onwards. it's a bloody good deal.500+ is hardly pocket change.
Seen glimpses of what he could do for us at the Knights, wouldn't be going on the test form too much, roos were all over him like a blanket, maybe the respect was a good thing, considered him dangerous.I'm sure I read it was 500 ish - But you're right, It's not peanuts.
I think it's big money for who he is and what he's done.
Coby Black just signed with the Raiders for 550k a season & he hasn't even played a game of first grade. 500K a season is a solid deal.500+ is hardly pocket change.
Halves particularly..and fullbacks...are a totally different market.Coby Black just signed with the Raiders for 550k a season & he hasn't even played a game of first grade. 500K a season is a solid deal.
We would have more cap space than most other clubs.Pretty sure he did Bud.
Wasn’t there an interview with him a little while back where he said there’s ‘a bit of room in next years cap, not a lot - but a bit’
Seen a big list of exits a bit back - no mention of May and KPP… both big money recruits.
I believe it was reported that it was actually 500k a season... Well thats what the DT and Codes Sport reported the figure as, and I highly highly doubt they would under quote a Tigers player salary.Barry Toohey is usually spot on whenever it comes to news around Newcastle & he said the deal is $600k a season. He was on $700k last year so it’s still a decent hair cut to take for him
Raiders to chase for Keaon
So the rumour goes.KPP is not a big money recruit we actually landed a pretty good deal with him.
Same with May.KPP is not a big money recruit we actually landed a pretty good deal with him.
I’m not against the KPP signing if we are paying him 600k as he is relatively young and has all the attributes to be a much better player than what he is currently demonstrating.Halves particularly..and fullbacks...are a totally different market.
Props are heading that way too..
KPP is arguably the best backrower on the market..$600k or so doesnt seem excessive..and I think hes got upside with a decent coach, which I dont think hes ever had
Great challenge for Benji
All good, thought you might have been having a shot at Blacktown 😁It means that playing for Manly lower grades would be the right place for him, promised so much but delivered so little.
But I only just found out that Blacktown is no longer the feeder club for Manly, so he won’t be playing there.
Which one? Both I reckon given Terrell's output last year.Same with May.
F that tell him he's dreaming.Code sport saying KK already on $900,000 at Souths and would be expecting more 🤦♂️
