I sent an email to the NRL off the back of a poster here encouraging us to do so. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response:

“Thank you for your email.

We appreciate you sharing your views with us on this matter.

The NRL is aware of the recent developments relating to the Wests Tigers administration and is taking a close look at the situation. The NRL is committed to ensuring all Clubs are strong and well governed.

We understand you have strong views on this matter and can confirm receipt of your message.

I can try to make sure that as many WT fans as possible understand that this is not right. This failure. We the paying footy fans deserve better and can actually demand better. Beats the people scratching their arse and criticising people for caring about something.

I became privy to inside information from an impeccable source this afternoon. The issue that broke this open had nothing to do with colour of jersey or any other trivia. It’s wholly and solely about Richo and the cosy arrangement he had with BOF for pushing approvals through that needed much more scrutiny.
As I said my source is impeccable but you believe whatever you like. I won’t be saying any more on the matter.

The problem is , if you say you’re a wests Tiger supporter the diehard magpies hear tigers … so Balmain . You can shout from the hills that you’re wests tigers , they don’t care. It’s just a way to justify thier shitty behaviour by categorising people as Balmain. Because the alternate truth that they are sabotaging the wests tigers and therefore killing off probably 80% of thier supporter base just doesn’t register for some reason. These people are completely blinded by the fact they’ve been waiting for a long time , soo long that it’s too long , and now there’s blood in the water they think it’s their time . Their time went approx around the time that Beni was flick passing us to a grand final win . Anyways ..

It’s the same thing bro. Theres no one from west tigers , or Balmain on that board . When Wayde and Andrecchio and Gilbert were there , I think the opposite was true . These guys shifted thier loyalties to wests tigers. HBG has much like the rest of the world , decided to take a step back in time . To be honest it’s indicative of a generation so afraid of what’s to come , they are clinging with all thier might to what they know. .look at politics around the world . Certain companies . These people are about to move into the twilight , and they are completely unwilling to give power to the next generation . The Gen Xers . This is just a vacuum of that .

All I’m saying is HBG aren’t capable of running a footy club, it’s not disputable when you look at the history. 15 years of rubbish. Their supporters will try to drag you into some kind of turf war. As Wests Tigers supporters we need to be above all that.
