The HBG take over of the board is going to cost plenty. Firstly they had to payout Richo, than they had to extend Benji to keep the playing group from revolting and now they will have to up the ante to keep Bulla and Luia not to mention any outside players they might be trying to entice to the club.
No wonder the club has been on struggle street for so long

After they sacked the 4 independent board members
He said he would only take the job full-time if it had the independent board members I think HBG would have broken his contract when they sacked the board members hence the pay out
I think the money means very little to HBG it's a club non for profit just to help the community
Remember the Sheen's payout and soon to be in the not to distant future Benji's payout

We finally get some good news, Bunji tells us what’s going on and they are ready to go and peeps are whining about contracts and the like.

I for one am 100% behind Bunji and the lads and if this keeps them all together and happy it’s a brilliant move in between some shockers.

I thought he mentioned during this interview he said he didn't want to be there and was quite short with some of his responses.
