HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

PVL forced those HBG fools to reinstate the board they sacked.

Yes. He knows they are fools which is why he told them to reverse the decision.
Correct, so now they are abiding by his rules.
As long as they continue to abide by his rules is there any real need for this hysteria to continue ?

I would say HBG are following PVL’s terms and conditions, wouldn’t you ?
If that is the case you are labelling PVL’s terms and conditions a clown show.
I'm just trying to understand where the blame lies if all this doesn't work. Looks like HBG have a ready made excuse in PVL. No accountability yet again.

The fact that they sacked directors and then had to reappoint them shows that nothing has changed at HBG.

The fact they used communication as an excuse but didn't sack their representatives shows that nothing has changed at HBG.

The fact they sacked directors that oversaw the clubs first steps forward in over a decade shows nothing has changed at HBG.

The fact that they did all of the above and destabilised the playing group shows nothing has changed at HBG.

The fact that they gave Benji a 5 year contract to try and get the narrative back shows nothing has changed at HBG.
Yes and now they are paying the consequences by having to follow the terms and conditions being directed by PVL.
Obviously extending Benji’s contract was a PR stunt, what other choice was there under the circumstances?

Is it really a consequence when they still got what they wanted, control over the board?

Consequence would have been return to the independent review set up, or less positions on the board.

To not create that situation in the first place. Just over 2 weeks ago, the fanbase was the most positive its been on a long time. HBG destroyed that.

Ok so are they 💯 to blame, 95% to blame, 90% to blame, 80% to blame, 50% to blame ?
Surely you are not going to say they are 💯 to blame and nobody else has done anything wrong to contribute?

Do you know that? Even if true, why would that cause directors to be sacked for a lack of communication and then reappointed?
I think we all know it’s highly likely it was all a ploy to upset Richo.
My theory is they stupidly thought it would not cause too much commotion sacking the board members and knew it would ultimately remove Richo who was the one they wanted out.
I assume they were also not aware Richo could move on and collect 1.5 million in the process.
It’s not even a secret that Enriched was receiving payments from Wests Tigers.
Even if they were done at a fair and reasonable cost and not a largely inflated cost which had been strongly suggested, you just wouldn’t do it due to a conflict of interest.

Hmmm. They sound even more fish brained if your version is to be believed.

They hate Richo and want him gone, so they blow up the board in order to force Richo to resign. Great plan...but what if Richo didn't resign?

Their other option would be to just sack Richo...I know which one would have caused less drama and both would have cost 1.5 million in a payout.

How did you come to this conclusion?

To be honest I'm not relying on HBG fed narratives, they just had to settle with Rick Wayde over his removal. They then had to remove the video announcing the removal of the independents and then reappoint them. Seems HBG aren't very reliable with their reasoning.

Ill base my position and actions on their history.

I reckon they thought removing Richo would cause uproar, but didn’t realise how much uproar removing the directors would cause.
