HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

I don’t give a shit about the money ..: HBG pay it out of their own pockets …not the salary cap … just like they have paid out plenty of others to move them on over the years …

We’ll see what happens with PVL … in the meantime he is worrying about the Broadcasr deal and setting up Perth and PNG … I’m sure he is swearing over whether tne Wests Tigers run last/ second last …. Again
That’s the attitude, don’t care about wasted money, it’s not coming out of your pocket.

So you think it’s a good thing that Richo walked away with 1.5 million for doing nothing ?
Ideally it would be great if Wests Tigers kept the 1.5mill and Richo saw out his contract, but he only took the job under the condition there was an independent board.. how thick are you mate? Who sacked the board? Maybe then they are responsible that we had to pay 1.5 mill?

I’m sure you wouldn’t have that same view if you was a shareholder in the club.
I am a member, close enough.
He bungled the Galvin contract saga
Galvin was never staying a tiger. He had been in discussions with his teacher from the bulldogs since last year when he wantdd to leave.
Are you just going to ignore that Lachie was upset that Luai formed a close bond with Latu? And all the other contributing factors? Ofcourse you are going to ignore it.

, overpaid his son amongst many other things,
Can you please provide proof of this?
And when the NRL investigates and finds this to be false, will you issue an apology to the Richardson family for dragging their family name through the mud?

I’ve said a thousand of times, yes HBG have to take a fair share of the responsibility
Thank you.
The major issue is they are not the only ones responsible and nobody wants to admit that even though it’s staring at you in the face.
The major issue is WHO sacked the independent board members and WHY?

That was the catalyst for everything...

Everything else is nothing but unsubstantiated claims that no one can back with evidence. Until then, what proof do you have that Richo is a crook and ran the club into the ground?

Did HBG help secure government funding for the two stadiums?

@BZN stop trying to find things that are not there. Seriously do you just sit at home every day looking for something to try and trigger people? It is sad.

The facts are out there, and have been mentioned enough times. HBG has brought years of failure to the Wests Tigers through their poor running of the club to the point the club languished at the bottom of the table, with numerous leaks to the media being a constant, and the reputation of the Wests Tigers being completely tarnished. This was to the point that an independent review was forced by fan support and led to change.

When that happened the club began seeing a turn around in commercial and on field performance, for it to only then be blown up again by HBG after they went through a year of infighting, backstabbing, and people being out for themselves. This then crossed over to the Wests Tigers board and has since led to HBG taking back everything they had been told to step back from.

All people on here that are fighting for the Wests Tigers, unlike you with your pro Western Suburbs rhetoric are trying to give the Wests Tigers the chance to continue to be successful, and remove the part that causes constant issues and prevents the club from being an on and off field success.

There is no conspiracy, there is no pro Balmain, or anti Western Suburbs agenda, it is only Wests Tigers. If you had been there at the rally yesterday, you would have seen that. There was no people out for just Balmain, no one beating up either side, just purely people united against HBG and supporting change for the success of the Wests Tigers.

So get on board, or at least be a part of the conversation, over trying to constantly break it. Stop attacking those who actually care about the issues, and have proven it time and time again, and actually showed their care for the club yesterday (having spoken to them personally), rather than you just being a sad antagonist sitting behind your keyboard trying to get you joys from the chaos you are trying to create.
Great post
The board of course have to approve who is appointed to important positions such as CEO, Coach, Marquee players etc
I don’t know how anyone can say appointing Ivan Cleary or Michael Maguire coach were bad decisions. We were looking good under Ivan Cleary until he threw us under the bus, I fail to see how that is the fault of the board ?
Maguire was also a very good choice and he too started off well, before going backwards before he departed. I personally would have given him another 12months to turn it around, but the power of the voice of the majority of our fans forced his departure, yet sone of those sane fans now claim the board doesn’t listen to them ?
Justin Pascoe also had a very good resume including working for the Panthers, who was critical of him being appointed when it first happened ?
It’s all very well to point the finger in hindsight, but there has been plenty of good decisions that have been made, but did not go to plan.
Those coaches failed because the place was a basket case. Did HBG back the coaches no they flipped and flopped all over the place. Rather than fix the issues they kept sacking people. You may well blame the fans fir putting pressure on HBG but fans are reacting to constant failures not just one coach or one season. HBG have the bigger picture and didn't know what to do with it. Richo was changing the culture along with Benji and they got rid of him. They then panicked agian and signed Benji long term. Surely you can understand supporter frustration at the shambles HBG has turned the club into.
Please don't blame the fans. Let's get real about this.

I would really like to see the NRL declare the WA has to cease the debenture system immediately and normal / usual board membership make up by democratic election of membership replaces it. The debenture system is a rigged, too powerful, closed shop and crippling WA, HBG and WT. Pay out the debenture holders with original contribution and 20% for each year after their start. It's got to go now / asap. It's the source of way too much malignant influence. My 2 cents worth🙂

That’s the attitude, don’t care about wasted money, it’s not coming out of your pocket.
Richo didn't write the contract. HBG did. Why direct your anger to the wrong place. HBG are responsible for that decision.

Don't blame Richo for taking what HBG promised. They signed him for 4 years, they broke the deal, he resigned and collects the rest of his contract...no different to Johnny Bateman.
