that wasn't the point - the poster said it was necessary for success to have all teams under the one name - just ointing out a couple of successful teams that don't and one unsuccessful team that does.

And Parramatta had their board dissolved by LGA for financial fraud and salary cap cheating but that didn't effect their NRL grant
But it kind of is the point, because of the NRL team coming from two former NRL teams, and all the angst still evident as we head into the 27th season of the joint venture. Those two successful teams don't have all this drama going on and on for decades

It is exceptionally hard to comprehend. Can you explain how the HBG were kept in the dark when their chairman was on the board and they had a representative on every committee?
The actions they've taken and they way they have behaved are beyond the comprehension of any logical human being.
Almost 400 pages in and it's a question that nobody has answered, including @Vicious
If it was all Richo as he suggested, they would have sacked Richo. Yet they sacked the board, who were privy to the same information as the HBG directors..
Go figure huh?

I may have missed something but I still haven't seen anyone from HBG come out and state definitively exactly what these secrets or things that were hidden from them actually were.
Couldn't have been anything too big because HBG representatives were at the board meetings and all votes were supposedly passed unanimously with all minutes being available and this has not been challenged or disputed by HBG.
Anything major that was developing was constantly being widely reported in the media so that would have been impossible to miss unless there was complete incompetence on the part of HBG.
Apart from a video released by HBG featuring their CEO making vague unsubstantiated claims, which was very quickly taken down, there has been nothing.
Absolute clowns.

The lack of communication claims were rebuked by all the independents and that they were totally blindsided - of the belief that the board was supportive of the direction the club was headed/ decisions made. The fact that they were reinstated after the meeting with PVL supports that theory - hence wrongly accused unfairly dismissed.
The fact that they are diving in again given how they were treated we can only hope they want to see WTs thrive and were given assurances the NRL are watching.

On this one V'landys appears to have completely stuffed up and looks to have completely misunderstood what the issue actually is.
Maybe I am the one that has misunderstood what he has done here, because as others have said, it looks as though he has made things worse or has he just given HBG enough rope to hang themselves.
Nothing happened to p them off, they just woke up one morning and decided it was a good day to remove a few people from the board,
Is that more believable?
I’ve explained it over and over again.
If anyone doesn’t understand or doesn’t want to understand it’s now too late as it’s now old news.

A number of hot topics decisions that have been made without them knowing about it has been reported a number of times.
It’s not even a secret, but many people still want to turn a blind eye to it.

As I’ve alluded to their actions were irrational and misguided, but there were issues and things that should not have happened that led to it.
The NRL has stated that the Wests Tigers are the club entity now and into the future. To some extent, it is irrelevant that the magpies are in control except that they are responsible to ensure sound governance.
I wouldn't be skiting about the magpies being 'finally in control', as recent events demonstrate. In reality, it is 'unfortunate' for anyone who supports Wests Tigers.

What I don’t understand is why they don’t sell their 90%. Do they think having Wests Tigers on the books gives them some level of kudos? Or a path to dovetail Magpies closer to re-entry?
Maybe Albo could step up with a social cohesion grant of $2k to buy out the debentures?
