FITNESS & GYM

I’ve always steered away from leafy green veggies.
They’ve always tasted like shit to me…bitter.
Root vegetables and fruit along with steak make up the vast majority of my diet
Love both especially spud carrot and pumpkin....
A woolies bbq chook, bag of sald mix ..tomato boiled eggs and grated cheese...2 minutes prep
Simple

Just got back from skiing in Japan. Did 13 days skiing in row. I needed 1 rest day in the middle of the trip. My brother did all 14 days straight. His exercise program of mostly strenuous walking with a weighted pack seemed to get him better ski fit than me. I was doing gym sessions (HHIT classes) and swimming.
I got back yesterday and I’m currently posting from an Oxygen chamber in a health/wellness centre in Manly. (mHBOT) involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber, which allows the body to absorb more oxygen than normal. The increased oxygen is then delivered to the tissues and organs, promoting healing and reducing inflammation.
This is my first time doing it. I’m doing a 90 minute session. Over the next week I’m going to try and do 2 more sessions. I’ll let you know how it goes.

It was a Xmas present (3 sessions) not sure of the cost. I thought now we be a good time to use it, as I’m a bit sore all over. Especially the knees.

I think the mad scientist Des Hasler used them at Manly

Have kept up the running trying for at least once a week. My weight fluctuates between 109 and 112kg. Find if I have a dose of bread or pizza weigh on the heavier side for a couple of days. Must pass slowly.
Can run 6.5k nonstop without too much effort timing between 39 and 44 minutes. Found my best times when it’s been over 30 degrees(seems odd)
Played in the Newcastle beach 5’s in the social division.

Anybody else been good this year

I’m back to swimming every morning . Gonna add body weight/ boxing light weights in the afternoon moving forward .
Not as good as old mate swimming 1km in 19 mins . At my best it was about 21mins when I was 25 . I’ve been doing 1km in about 32 .looking to drop it to 25 , and maybe 1.5 at 30 mins . Probably take a few months , although muscle memory should serve me well .
