Mosses is the problem with Bulla , BUT what HBG did back in December was always going to load mosses with more power , HBG new we were in discussions with mosses for a Bulla deal , one of our up and comers who is going great , they also new doing what they did would blow up , how could they not know , sacking Barry and the directors was always going cause major drama and it did to the point PVL had to step in and Richo walked , dumb dumb thing to do , non on the HBG board should still hold a directors position as it showed how in competent hey all are , specially Burges who sat n both boards and agreed to all things presented at the football club board meetings , Now word is we are ap offering upwards to 1 million for bulla who is not worth it , $ 780 x 4 years , he hasn’t done anything yet just played some good solid nrl

If by some miracle we have a good year and I guess that is a top eight finish, HBG can take zero credit after derailing the club last year coupled with decades of mismanagement.
Funny we call a good year scrapping into the 8, while most club set a far higher bar. Anyway any success our club gets will be due to the players and coaching staff being able to distance themselves from the HBG
 
But, but, but, if we have a good year Holman Barnes Group would say it was due to their genius move renewing the contract of our rookie yet to be proven coach who he himself admitted had done nothing yet to earn the contract extension.

I know he is no longer here but that is pure Sheenius, go figure. 🤡

I wouldn't need him to build a statue of me, but I'd sure as hell be pissed if I heard he was bad mouthing me to his mates.

Yes, I know what you mean. I bought a property recently it was run down but in a great position, had been on the market for a couple of years. The owner had a mortgage and was struggling to sell.
The deal was done through agents so I had never met the vendor.
Some time later I was at a charity fund raiser cocktail party when I started talking to this guy who coincidentally was the vendor.
Can you believe it? Rather than buying me a drink to show his gratitude, he was pissed at me for buying, after I had explained that he had enough in the deal to clear his debt with the bank.!!? I swear, some people.
It’s the exact same situation as you’ve explained.
More grovelling required.

No, he was saying if we have a good year, it's not because of HBG . . . but if we have a shit year it is because of HBG. Them's logic.
 
Anyone know when the board meeting is on and when will we find out who is on the Wests Tigers footy board , must be due one soon or are they still licking the wounds after PVL jumped all over them

He doesn't owe you gratitude. You paid him money for his house. Sold a tangible asset for the market price. You give him money, he gives you a house.
Now, using the scenario I posted . . . the deadbeat brother is giving the good brother sweet f all in return for the expenditure Mr nice guy made. And all of deadbeats mates are still bagging the good bro at every chance.
So the 2 situations are different.
Anyway, I don't want to get into an ideals debate with you guys. If you can't see my point, no biggie. We agree to disagree, and we move on and hope we see a few more wins from our team this year.

- they ‘tipped in’ to pay Balmains debts?

No they didn’t - they paid the debts and got 100% ownership and full control of the football club in return.

Gifting Balmain 10% in good faith, whilst keeping a majority board and full control.
The only time they haven’t had majority board positions and full control is the last 12 or so months - and they fixed that just before Christmas.
