WTF – Wests Tigers Faithful Podcast

ahem

"You're clearly one of the sheeple follow the obvious WT front office narrative on here. You're a corporate shill just like Richo. I can't wait for all the loser fake fans who were not here posting nonsense 4 times a day on December 23rd to return after our first game this season so I can show them how weak and stupid your idiotic post was. I have been saying that I'm borderline ironic long before you said it, for 5 years where have you been? "
Who said that ? It doesn’t even make sense .

latest podcast up wherever you listen / watch, ladies and gents.

had the pleasure of hosting forum favourite and former WT Media Manager Dan Talintyre on the show for the first half, before chatting thru Vegas 27 & the May's, plus what caught our eye at the WT Club Day.

Great pod guys. I lucked in & checked spotify podcast new episodes this morning so listened the journey from Brisbane to Toowoomba.

Good to hear the tales & insights of Dan plus your comprehensive club day pathways wrap! Anyone that wants to hear about our young talent coming through from U16s to U19s, listen in to this episode!

As you touched on, the development of Izaak Isdale over the next few years will be very interesting.
As @jrtiger pointed out he certainly has plenty of similarities to Jye Gray.
I think Thomas Aroyan also has plenty of class and will be an interesting watch as he progresses.
Theoretically if you had them both in the same team, which one of them would you move to 5/8 ?

Thomas Aroyan could develop into a very good winger imo. He has something we lack severely in pure speed. He's school state level over 100m for his age group. He looks to have the frame at 16/17 that he will grow to a good height for a winger too. @balmain boy will be happy with that!

ooh I like this one. gun to head, Aroyan. Isdale for mine is a 1 only, unfortunately I worry about backrowers trampling him. that could change tho

Would love to hear your thoughts on our top 10 'priority' pathways players to retain, out of those not currently on development or T&T deals (the Godinets, Havea Jnrs, Van Dries etc).

Let's say our bottom-aged Matts players (16yo) to bottom-aged Flegg players (20yo) this year.

My contenders for the top 10 would be ...

20yo - Logan Brookes, Riley Oitmann, Jack Nicholas, Archie Duncombe, Byron Laupepa
19yo - Glassie Glassie, Peter Ta'ai, Aaron Paea
18yo - James Lanyon, Christian Azzi, Isaac Perkins, Kye Penfold
17yo - Iszac Isdale, Kingston Finau, Zeph Finau, Noah Vaotangi, Thomas Aroyan
16yo `- Monson Hopoate, Denham Tsagalas

that's a cracking question hahaha

might give it some good thought and return to it.

Thanks boys, another great listen. I'm with Jarrod on Jock Madden. While get where Mac is coming from this is something I expected to see in the last trial not in the first game of the season. Benji had a genuine opportunity to experiment as opposed to chopping and changing the halves combination in the first half of the first game.

I have been pretty vocal in my call for AD to play at 13 but I really think we have missed that boat. I expect that AD will play half until Latu can force him out of that postion, or there is an injury and Madden gets an opportunity to present his case.

Only time will tell; but if Benji pulls that reign on Saturday @poopy_diaper will need to change his handle to @coachwhisperer
