Yes to Bula re-signing
No to Mitch Moses being a player who can take a team to a title, he requires a champion player or club to take him there.
Watching him tank with us and play the mental health card to get out of contract will never be forgotten.
Talented player but a weasel of the highest order.

The only player that would even come close to smith is Steve Walter’s . But even then he didn’t do it for long enough or make anywhere near the same mark . And no Danny Buderus isn’t second … sorry . Nor is backdoor Benny or Robbie . I will say this though. If Robbie Farah and Cam smith were both playing a game and they were operating at thier absolute peak performance capability .. I’d pick Robbie . It’s just Cam smith was alway giving you 8/10 no matter what … where Robbie could give you 10/10 performances and then be completely ineffectual for the next 10 games.
 
Just on Drinkwater , I wonder if he’s waiting to see what Bula does , as that opens up the tigers 1 for the next couple of years … which is a far better option than the dragons . And from a tigers perspective you get a gun number 1 whilst our 3 gun fullbacks in Oitman , Brookes and Attard develop . Who isn’t standing in their way long term .

To’a problem is his left arm injury. Not the same player with it and it doesn’t look like improving any time soon.

He’s way better than Herbert at his best.

We were close to / or / over the salary cap from 2009 - 2012.

Robbie and Benji took 'paycuts' to make things fit that would get paid into their contracts next time around. There were other players too but they were the big ones. Benji took a verbal agreement and handshake from Humphries for a big revised deal in 2012, which the club then later reneged on a year later after Humphries resigned. So Benji left.

Robbie's deferment was massive. Went up to from like 400k to 900k in 2013.

But yea Humphries was supposedly this legendary Qantas and Britsh Airways exec -- he made the first big mess at the club and left the club bottom of the ladder 2013.

We'll pick up his extension which means he's signed to end of 27.

He's not going anywhere. Moses knows he has his client a contract guaranteed with us for 900k.

We've been trying to extend him past the current extension deal, but Bula won't sign. That's fine. We only need him for this year and next before we need to get a replacement. We'll find someone in that time.

Yes Sheen's contracts effected seasons 2013 -2014 and he had to pay very big overs to keep Tedesco at the backend of 2011 because Teddy was off to the Dragons in 2012 if he did not pay

Herbert had a problem before hope he's over it

In a game when he made a mistake it really effected him maybe it was just youth trying to hard but he would make another then he was in Allsorts of trouble hoping if he makes a mistake this time he just doesn't get overwhelmed

And just keeps his head up

-Elijah Mataale (22), however has not been sighted since doing a T&T with the NRL squad pre-Xmas. Injury???
- Vaka Aho (23), a real slow burner, been in our pathways for years and has improved each season. Starting to really stand out for the Magpies in NSW Cup this season. No star but could develop into solid depth. I'd love to see what he can develop into with a full NRL pre-season.
-Lachlan Broederlow (22) - back playing on an edge but has looked good in the middle. Amazing how he has developed after a full pre-season in the fitness stakes.
-Archie Duncombe (20) - workhorse, leads by example, very good line speed & contact in defence, reminds me of Tyson Frizell in style and action.

Tavana will move up the pecking order next year. Luke off to Perth, Skelton off contract and Will Craig should be moved on.

We really lucked out finding Herbert - some good signs. Hats off to Benji for that diligence in watching those random comps, identifying him and supporting the comeback.
 
Tavana signs , again this is not the priority we should be seeing , May Snr and Bulla are the 2 priority , our ceo is rubbish , a board puppet , and as other have said he doesn’t respond to emails ( I’m a member ) he just floats around hard questions , totally controlled by the board , piss weak , needs to go , and the board will be back in the headlines when bulla leaves and May brothers leave , hopeless lot of individuals with no football club experience
