He's an elite player in a position we've been lacking in for a long time.
Deserves whatever they're paying him.

Any news on his injury?
I doubt we will hear anything concrete until he get's back to Sydney and he see's a specialist,but after hearing Benji last night i would not be confident about him playing again anytime soon.

Heard a little whisper last night re. the decision for Taylan not to undergo surgery.
By playing him on the right side when he returns, it could protect his right shoulder (his primary fend option when he's on the left) a bit more. It would also fill a hole there with Makasini to take the left centre position.

They’re all in on making the 8 this year…
Risking Tinys injury to help make that happen…
I’m not overly comfortable with it.
Dunno why no one is mentioning our physio - have seen plenty of wraps for him of late, seems to be some mistakes being made with boys coming back to re-injure

Theres also the defensive aspect to consider...

Should have gone straight under the knife possibly, especially the dislocations, time will decide I guess these shoulder injuries do have a habit of reoccurring, holding our breath when the affected players return, starting with Bula and his complaint.

yup..his shoulder was hanging on by a thread and that tackle was season over..
I feel bad for Tiny, someone should have forced him to have surgery after the second dislocation and protect him from himself.
I'm no doctor, but I imagine getting it dislocated for a third time could have a huge impact on if his shoulder ever gets back to 100%
It also seemed like he was in a lot more pain this time compared to the other two which is concerning.

You certainly can't knock his courage. He said he would play until the wheels completely fell off and yesterday was it. Love his commitment, but as you say maybe somebody should have saved him from himself.

he'll get a nice long recovery time and be ready for pre-season.
3 in a season is courageous from him - everyone knows you are 50/50 that it pops out again once you've done the first one. It was a matter of time, but he did it to help the team.
