You “don’t know “?

Come on man … Penrith are the class of the competition .. the Storm won’t make the 8 and the Sharks will scrape in ..
Yeah Penrith are the class of the competition on defence, and don't get me wrong they still have good attack, but their attack is probably 3rd or 4th. It's a combination of everything, Cronulla probably have on par attack with Penrith, their defence is just horrible. Cronulla will finish a solid 6th, they won't just "scrape in" and Melbourne will finish just outside of the top 8 because of their slow start.

You are just making stuff up now to deflect for Twal…Penriths attack way better than those two

Hopefully this gets everyone over their obsession with blokes like Charlie Murray. They are reserve grade for a reason.
I was very disappointed in Charlie Murray today, he looked overawed and took some easy options today… and madden has to play Reggie’s until he gets his kicking game sorted,,, just taking the wrong kick option consistently and hardly executing,,, really underperforming… Benji should bite the bullet and start Latu at 7 and bring Javon Andrews into the centres,, he is a big body and mobile so he could handle it,,,,, start preparing for the future

No it's not "way better," Cronulla have really good attack, their defence is just horrible. It's not as simple as looking at the scoreboard then coming to a conclusion, you actually have to watch football to understand. For example the Warriors have better attack than Penrith, but Penrith have better defence so when they play each other Penrith come out on top by 2 points and it's an epic battle. You wouldn't just look at the score and come to the conclusion that Penrith have better attack than the Warriors based on that.

I’m starting to get a bit bored with you mate …Have a look at the ladder for and against… Penrith are way ahead of any teams tally for the season on points for… that is the reality … I don’t think you watch the games or even understand the completion with this line of argument

So you just looked at which team has scored the most points for on the ladder and came to the conclusion that they're the best attacking team in the comp? Not all the other factors that play into it you would know about if you had active brain cells while watching games of football. Like fatiguing the opposition using your defence which then opens up the game for you more in attack and run away with it, so you're really actually winning the game on your defence instead of just having all out attack in a traditional sense like a team like North Queensland.

I like what he appears to have done to our culture, but performance wise he’s beginning to look like Adam Blair or I-Pap 2.0. Why do these players come here and play down to a shadow of themselves? It’s hard to say. Is it us or is it them.
Whats the common denominator?

Twal is very important, he and api and Terell are a very solid defensive trio, but take one leg away and you get what,we got yesterday, sadly… I could barely sleep last night because the disappointment hit me like a brick… we were really very good at the start of the year with our full strength squad in action and I got my hopes up based on that defence we were playing with,,, hitting hard and driving then back after winning the collision… but our injured players are replaced by very average cup players and we just cannot compete… I really do,not understand some of Benjis selections from a strategic perspective and to date not many of them have paid off but he really needs to,roll the dice if he wants to salvage this year…. Has got to get Latu , Javon and Heywood into the 19.. with Latu at 7… madden has not played well enough to retain the 7 and we need to start developing Latu

Firstly …you are trying to present an argument that Cronulla’s attack is “on par” with Penriths and you “dont know” whether the Storm is a better team,,,I would suggest that argument is very questionable and if you are trying to present it …I don’t think you should be questioning the smarts of anyone else

In my opinion Penrith are the best team in the comp on both sides of the ball,,, for and against is one measure of this and they dominate both …

I’m not saying he is not a good player ,,. But we have been towelled up a number of times with him in the team…and in my opinion he wouldn’t have made much difference yesterday considering the rest of the players performances

When did I ever say I "don't know" whether Melbourne was a better team than Penrith? All I said was Melbourne were starting to hit some form. And yes anyone that knows anything about football knows Cronulla are a really good attacking team but a horrible defensive team. No one's questioning about whether Penrith are the best team in the comp or not, they clearly are. Their defense is simply light years ahead of anyone else's, they choke and fatigue teams with their defense then proceed to run away with it when the game opens up for them. Simple numbers on a ladder doesn't confirm that Penrith are the best attacking team in the comp. For example you have a really good attacking side like Cronulla, but their defense is horrible. Rugby league is a game of momentum and possession, so when a team scores against their horrible defense, they get the ball back and score again, then do it again, holding back the amount of points Cronulla can score. So they have less points for on the ladder than some other teams that don't have better attack in a traditional sense. That's why there's a saying that defense wins you premierships in rugby league.

I don't know what people expect Madden to do on the back of a side who can barely make 20m a set and is always completely on the back foot.

I don't think anyone would have cared if he copped ten weeks inns, just a shit footballer, to think Perth signed him up, Ha, good luck with that recruit Mal lol.
There has been nothing confirmed about Perth signing him.
Why have we been playing him as a prop all season in NSW Cup and then come the middle of the season ask him to play a totally different position at NRL level ?
That’s stupidity in itself, but I do agree I don’t think he is up to it, I was surprised when we signed him as there was other better similar cost NSW Cup forwards available at the time.

Well, that's lucky for Perth they've dodged a bullet then if he's not going to be signed.

Maybe he was played at 2nd row because the cupboard was bare, Roberts in a moon boot, don't really give a rats it was a crap performance.

so who we missing again?

AD, Twal and Sam ? Is that it ?

Three good players … but the others have gotta stand up … there are several out there on good money
We need to lock up Samuela asap. As each week goes by, it becomes more apparent how valuable he is to this team. I actually think he is more the heartbeat of this squad than Tito in terms of his energy plus his effort and 1%ers are unrivalled.
