I'm not comparing the two.
Obviously if teo did that it's a shit go
But clearly he is a good defensive coach.
So if we can land him I'd take him in a heart beat
We have bigger problems than players wanting out of what has been a bit of a shithole a long time ago

It’s an observation, based on your opinion, not a fact ,, .. facts require evidence.. brooks played all season,, seibold got sacked while he was playing… while I even think brooks was playing quite well until he got injured my interest is only because although he played for another club you are still finding a way to regularly talk about him on a tigers forum on a signings thread.. which you are entitled to do and its interesting reading and we all need heroes and role models and Luke can reasonably be yours and more power to you.. I just find it remarkable,, and i commend you for it. Bravo 👏

It will take many years of consistently good management to earn genuine respect. Benji is creating something and it's the first semblance of a culture we've ever had.
People will bag it for various reasons and it's not how I'd do things, but it's at least something and it looks like it's got some sort of clear purpose and objective behind it.
We are signing players that we would have never had a chance to sign before. We had a glimpse of great football at the start of the season and sone promising juniors on the books...Luai, Galvin and TDS leaving have all been good things whereas previously we were losing our best guys.
There's a different feel, but the foundations are built on the same swamp...it will take a long time for that to change which is why even the best coaches and players have failed here.

AD is a good footballer, but he is not a seven, maybe at a pinch a running six, but has defensive issues and seldom sets up his outside man. He has been one of our better players but I think it’s time for Andrew’s and Latu and find a new role for AD

I think he is the perfect 14 in a good side. Where we are at he gets a start somewhere.

Totally agree re jerseys SQ but not on CSS, although I quote à previously listed message “ I want us to play at à ground where we win regularly, wherever it is“.
The fact that you travel from the Central West of NSW shows you are a true blue club supporter but so many can’t wrap their head around CSS v LO, and rightly or wrongly we have à results issue out west so imo, and at least in the past, we have a ground that we rarely win on.
I’d actually love to see a breakdown of the suburbs of the LO attendees v CSS to ascertain the major differences, if any.
I know when I lived in Sydney two trips to CSS was enough for me but never missed a LO game.
Maybe because I’m an old Balmain boy, I don’t know, but it just never felt the same!

I understand AD has his faults and is far from perfect, but if we are being fair dinkum we would have hardly scored a try or made a line break in our last 3 games if it was not for him and if we go back over the past 12 months he is far and away our best attacking threat.
So for all our supporters blaming him for our lack of attack, what are you watching?
Surely these same people watch other NRL games and can see what players and what positions are crucial to their teams breaking tackles, making line breaks, creating line beak assists, try assists and scoring tries?
Compare that tine the extremely limited assistance Doueihi and whoever plays in our halves are getting from these other crucial attacking positions?
So Luai is not our major problem either, BUT when you consider we can potentially get the same attacking impact or better from Latu Fainu, why not save 1 million dollars that we can the spend elsewhere to hopefully strengthen our squad and plug a few holes in our depth weaknesses by adding players that will not just be depth, but good enough to genuinely challenge for positions in our 17 that get on the field each week.
Very few of our players are good enough to be automatic selections even when they have a dip in form, but at the moment many of them know they are irreplaceable as we have nobody ready and waiting to replace them.

deal was done at parramatta on friday tigers tipping in 300k , perth have come in late with a deal with third parties that would mean tigers will only have to pay a termination fee
