Benji, likely doesn't see AD as our long term half, or 5/8. No point in moving Luai, he will be replaced by Javon or Latu, moving AD gets a head start on next year with him at lock, or centre.

I have said he has been the best player this year ..but he has flaws in his game ..one of which is that he is a very selfish player … if you are AD you can’t pull this lever ..particularly with everything else going on at the club right now

Yes but the point is, why wasn't the discussion done at the start of the week, when picking the team?

Oh give it a break about Luai , he did not stuff the club around he exercised his option and signed elsewhere, the club got rid of him a year early . You all make out like it’s the biggest crime that he signed elsewhere, especially when you all want the club to move xyz players before contracts up

Exactly it’s so selfish. Feel sorry for Javon. Club just has to take a stand to this kind of thing.

Latu has played every position under the sun to help the team. Most of the boys are busted and still playing. So for a senior player to storm out of training and rule himself out of a game over a positional change is inexcusable.

Yeah, seen this one coming for a while, just didn't know exactly when it was going to blow up.

Let's face it, despite all his talk about how much Adam Doueihi loves the club and let's face it he should, we have supported him for a fairly long time through multiple injuries and rehabs, but he has had form in the past saying that if he couldn't play in the halves he'd rather play reserve grade.

Look at all the time we carried him during his injuries, on at least 2 occasions extended his contract for a year when really it wasn't warranted because he wasn't exactly in demand and no one was going to take the risk on him after all the reconstructions he has had.

Admittedly we signed him to relatively low deals but to be fair he was rehabilitating for a long time on pretty big dollars after his first ACL.

Don't get me wrong, I admire the guys grit and determination to come back after all the injuries he's had but if he was really team first he'd be willing to play wherever the coach needed him (regardless of whether you feel that Benji is clueless), but instead we have seen the selfish side of him, ball hogging, going for the hero plays and spitting the dummy.

Yeah, like we need another drama, it's just so Wests Tigers, but best to sort this out now that our season is gone rather than drag it into the next season.

Was wondering when Benji was going to have the balls to address this situation and to be honest I wasn't shocked by the comments of Adel Hage recently regarding Adam Doueihi when he said he would let him go.

TBF if no one is above the club and team its probably see ya AD. I rate him would have loved to see him get a full season at 5/8 but Jebus, this is selfish in every aspect

Luai has spotted the problem with Doueihi's hogging and diagonal runs are stifling our attack AND Doueihi can't see it and is pissed off with the criticism. Doueihi's current form is crap.
Needs to have a deep self-assessment as to why and come to grips with it. Improve or look elsewhere.

AD is nowhere near our best player. He is the most likely to come up with a try or try assist, but he is also the main problem stifling every other player in the team and hindering their ability to attack. He is so similar to Galvin it isnt funny.

You are looking at Doueihi too simply. Just because he is the main attacking threat individually, doesnt mean he is a good attacking threat for the team. Galvin sets up most of the dogs points, just like he did here, but he also ruins their play on a consistent basis with too much running, hard passes, wrong passes and average kicking game....sound familiar? Just like Doueihi
