OFFICIAL Adam Doueihi #227

It’s going to keep happening as long as this kindergarten coach is in charge with a bunch of buffoon yes men, who are no threats to his job ad assistants.
We all know your distaste for the coach G, you have let it be known for seasons, we are all losing patience.

I'm giving him one more season to prove himself, turning it around isn't as simple as shafting the coach it's never worked here before, if we can stay sound and keep on adding to the roster we should improve.

But if this latest stink affects recruitment in short term and we get off to a pitiful start next season then if management are ever going to improve, it will be time to shaft him.

Maybe he should.have come out straight away to clear his name and not leave it for days for his name.to be dragg
ed thru the mud...that is if there is anything for him not to be blamed about.
You cant blame people for thinking one way if theres only one side being presented.
The way Benji was so coy tells me he is on eggshells hoping Doueihi doesn’t speak his mind.

Jahream Bula, a talented young international FB who was lighting it up in the early rounds , before picking up an injury.

Tito Turuva, one of the bravest wingers in the NRL, a premiership winner who hits it up like a front rower.

Taylah May, a dangerous attacking centre and excellent defender who unfortunately picked up a serious shoulder injury when we were on fire.

Two promising rookie halves in JA & LF

Heamasi Makasini, if you watched his trial form you’d know he’s going to be a star when he grows into his 18 year old body.

Api K, an inspirational premiership winning captain

Sam F, one of the most promising edge forwards in the comp. Who unfortunately missed a large part of the season through injury.

KPP, a skilful international edge forward, who unfortunately missed a large part of the season through injury.

I could keep going.

AD leaving is a blip on a radar.
The team is there . The galvanising voices are simply falling on deaf ears. The coach can get you up , like he did the first 15 mins of the second half , but ultimately it’s the leaders on the field . The team seems off luai , and the guy who should have been “get behind me boys “ because he apparently loves the club , is now leaving .
True character is not defined when things are going great , but rather when things are in turmoil.
It’s tough as to follow this club , but here we are talking our way around it . I think adel hate was right . Anyone who was here prior to 2-3 years ago needs to find another club . Including guys like seyfarth and twal

“Can you imagine (Sharks coach) Craig Fitzgibbon dropping Nicho Hynes to jumper number 22 and not having a chat with him first?" DT Article

For me this has always been the main question.

A question of repsect.

Did Benji speak with AD about being dropped in the correct way? If he didn't then maybe AD has the right to be p*ssed.

People have chosen to ignore the basic notion of the respect between coach and player.

However, I just can't see Benji being this stupid and not doing it repectfully.....unless he wants him gone??

Injuries to key players and then a loss of confidence, and now the losing has affected the team harmony.

Not ideal, but not time to blow it all up.

It’s the histrionics that I hate. It seems to be a bit of a pattern.

- Player shows dissatisfaction with coach or club
- story magically get leaked to media
- story gets amplified over following week
- situation becomes untenable
- player leaves club
- player signs new contract shortly after.

Better buy my 2027 grand final tickets

Before the season began we heard lots of comments about
" toe the line or there's the door "
This my way or the highway approach doesn't seem to nurture a warm cosy happy environment. Maybe it worked with pre season training with good fitness levels achieved. We began the year thrashing the Cows and the Warriors and the Knights and the Raiders and the clear best player was Douehi
But now and since Douehi popped his shoulder in Rd 9 we have been diabolical
Agree Douehi not playing in Canberra was disgraceful but that has little to do with conceding 56 points .
The fact is our pack has been out muscelled week after week
Terrell May Twal and others are not putting in much effort and Canberra were racing right thru the middle
On top of this Benji backed the kids in the backline eg Makasini , Tavana ,
Andrews and Haywood and these kids are extremely weak in defence and are not ready for 1st grade yet and imo Benji made a bad bet with these kids
All in All the team look unmotivated across the board .
The responsibility for this rests with the coach !
The wheels have fallen off and the club is almost destroyed
Interesting the bottom 2 clubs are the 2 merged JV 'S
They don't work especially with so many clinging to the past which is now in the previous millennium
Benji now has a bigger shambles than Madge or Sheens ever had
Need a new coach who is a " people person " who creates a warm harmonious atmosphere .Assistant coaches can create the attacking and defensive structures but the head coach must create the warm cosy climate .
Seems to me the decision to tell Luai he's not wanted next year is where a lot of the rot started . Having him play against us at Parramatta with us contributing about 300 k of his salary is just plain stupid
Anymore key players leave then I will join them !!!!

Krissy this has nothing to do with independent boards or Shane Richardson. This about a player not wanting to play in the position he was asked to by his coach. If you know anything about team sport this is a no no. This all on Adam and in my opinion unforgivable.
I am not excusing Adam’s walking out, that was absolutely disgusting, you do not abandon your teammates ever. I am questioning how professionally the entire club is run. We seem to drift aimlessly from one drama to the next & just continue to lose players & pay for them to play at other clubs. We constantly have drama leaked to the media. We are told everything is fine and then another grenade is lobbed. It just feels like there is a communication break down within the team and it isn’t being addressed. I am disappointed that this kind of a walkout could even happen at the club. It puts the club in the spotlight yet again & how are we meant to recruit when we look so unprofessional?
