Said they were on the wrong end of decisions all night. Criticised the call against Api when Luai “scored”. Basically said what is he supposed to do? Was critical of the decision against Pole - said Cows defender makes a decision on Pole. Criticised us getting penalised for contesting a ball when they did the same thing and no penalty. He looked really pissed off to be honest. More so than I’ve seen him re refereeing. Implied it happens when you’re near the bottom.
Whole thing went for 3 and a half minutes and most was Benji ranting about the calls. Also mentioned Pole playing his 100th. Api was then asked a stupid question which he barely answered.

From a depth point of view Herbert really has a go, strong performances last few weeks.
Bunty too I hope he's kept on for depth, noticed he has a good pass from the middle of the field as well as being a battering ram.

The refereeing was all over the shop.

They will no doubt have to look at that rule about tackling the dummy half when he takes off now. We can find a way to get screwed.
The most annoying part of the dodgy ref decisions is that we all know if the same situations occur in the rest of the season that there will be no penalty.

There were a few bad ones, but that one was ridiculous. He was about to take his third step towards the try line when the ball came out, and worse still, it cost us a likely 6 points and possibly the match with the turnaround.
They took the two so it was 8 points. If the marker can’t tackle a running hooker what is the game coming to? Ref also called try so no reason to go nit picking.
