He's early 20sNot sold on Mason. Hope he does kick on if we re-sign him though.
Still growing and very smart.
Reminds me.of Papenhowzen. Got better after a few years..
Genuinely versatile

Of course he won't be. He won't even train with the NRL squad. Ron Massey os where he would start, you don't announce those signings, then the media will find out and release a story on itThe club is not stupid enough to promote the signing of someone just released from jail in such a manner.... surely not... right??
This Manasae talk is crazy.
He isnt signing with the nrl side any time soon.
Most NRL fans are in the 30-55 age bracket. That's funny because I've seen a few young content creators talking about how old fashioned and cringe the Bulldogs social media is.
Terrell had a young bloke on his podcast that said the Bulldogs content is created by an old lady who has no idea what she's doing.
Maybe it's the age of the average poster on this forum that doesn't relate to the new content.
Our membership numbers will absolutely plummet next year. Our attendances will drop. We're going to lose a lot of money. And we didn't have much to begin with. So we need (and will take) all the cash we can getIs it primarily about money …or trying to hide some bad crowds next year ?
Sending the Warriors game to NZ is a terrible idea … I possibly could entertain like the Titans or Cowboys game which typically gets played at LO..
Sukkar is a fringe first grader for the worst team in the comp. Mason could be a decent utility in a few years time, but we won't be able to develop him into a first grader and we have no need for him as a utility either .I want both...
Both will be good first graders.
Sukkar is a beast.
He is not a 1st grade player and I think most on this forum again on that
He’s a shit 9 too plus we’ve got 3 backup players that are better than him there. Can he play 9 .. ?? .. his body shape could make him a back up 9 .. ??
I think weve got 26/30 currently, without CTM and Godinet there and we'd keep 1 at least space open for during the year. I think CTM has a 30, not sure on Godinet. If we re-sign Mason it tells me that we are done on the recruitment front, otherwise I can’t imagine us giving up a valuable top 30 spot for him. Signing Mason means we may have only one spot left, with Sukkar still unsigned- means no spot for Schiller. (Based on the assumption that both CTM and Godinet are top 30 in 2027).
No evidence of playing good footy can be foundIve heard on a couple of pods, that Godinet went backwards this year, can anyone comfirm or deny this. Also he isnt big enough this year, maybe BWG can you let me know your thoughts on him..
Great take…I'm told Heath Mason is a product of a disjointed Wests Tigers pathways system.
With no consistent fundamentals or club-wide style of play, he arrived in first grade underprepared, and the coaches had to spend time fixing problems that should never have reached the NRL. He's a talented kid and there's still a place for him at the club. He just needs some work.
Yeah he wasn’t as dominant as previous seasons and hard to put a finger on it. Godinet has the tools, just needs to be involved more and really hone in on effort areas that the modern day backrower needs. His goal line defence was found out at times too but that will come with strength & specific training in that area. If the club’s development coaching is fair dinkum, this kid should come on in leaps & bounds with another pre-season.Ive heard on a couple of pods, that Godinet went backwards this year, can anyone comfirm or deny this. He sounds like he is lazy…Yeah he wasn’t as dominant as previous seasons and hard to put a finger on it. He probably should never have played first grade yet. He's not NRL standard.I'm told Heath Mason is a product of a disjointed Wests Tigers pathways system.

We do not have a system at the club. That's the first issue. Everything is just off the cuff, there is no planning or strategy involved.Great take…
Heath isn’t the only junior our pathways system has let down…
Sounds like the potential appointment of Crawly has identified our pathways short comings.at least I hope.
Mathew Betsy was in charge for ages and doesn’t look like he set the pathways kids up for success.
Bringing Wests and Balmain juniors together, kids needed to be taught the system that first grade plays…so when called upon they know the calls and their roles in the team Etc.
I hope Heath is given a chance to develop his game.was played way before he was ready..
He was definitely sub par this season. His sg ball season was incredibly disappointing, a few times he only had 1-2 runs in the entire match. For a player with big wraps and involved in an NRL preseason, effort is not just desirable, it's mandatory. Sure the play may have targeted the other side of the field a bit, but players who want to dominate lower grades go get the ball and make things happen. He just caught a cold waiting for someone to pass him the ball out wide.Ive heard on a couple of pods, that Godinet went backwards this year, can anyone comfirm or deny this. Also he isnt big enough this year, maybe BWG can you let me know your thoughts on him..
