Aaron Woods - Signs with Bulldogs 2018 - Sharks 2018 [Official]..

If Woodsy was to leave how would Teddy and the rest interpret that? Surely any doubts about the direction the club is heading in would be exacerbated. Despite what some people might think of Woodsy he is respected by the other players. If he resigns with our club it's a step in the right...

    Paseka Released

Haven't posted for ages but had a sneaky peak at what's happening and saw this thread. I asked JT about Taniela at the Members' Day a few months ago and he was very forthright in his opinion that he was still inexperienced and needed time. He said something along the lines that prop is a...

    Flip cards and banner

G'day guys, just letting you know that this Sunday the club will be trying to have the people in the Eastern Grandstand use Wests Tigers flip cards and will be unfurling a banner before kick-off. It's a positive initiative by the club and one which will hopefully contribute to the excitement and...

    Knights Team...

No chance of that happening, not after 3 defeats and last year the Sims boys leading their pack to a win over ours.

Your side to take on the Knights

I don't see any need for changes. We're having a good run without injury, only minor things at present, so why change now and disrupt combinations when we will be forced to make changes soon enough i.e. when injuries really do hit and Origin comes around. One simple stat stands out to me in the...

    Gagai Mullen sims bros

We weren't all that far from winning our last 2 games either. Only one try between us & the Eels and only possession stood between us & the Sharks. We've also had to deal with 2 five day turnarounds in the first 5 games. Had we held the ball better last 2 games we may well have won both and be...

If Only We Had a Fifita or Gallen or Both!

I don't miss him either but he is a player who can do something others can't. I've no doubt he has an ego and he likes the pushing rubbish. He's a niggler and a bit of a dope but that is obvious to any follower of the game. That run after the kick-off was impressive though.

If Only We Had a Fifita or Gallen or Both!

I was sitting at the northern end yesterday. The Sharks had just taken 2 points after the push and shove between Fifita, Grant etc. From the kick-off I watched Fifita charge back towards the Tigers defenders. I turned to the bloke next to me and said "Who'd want to tackle that". Fifita then...

    Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

The panic, if it was that, was caused by the great pressure applied by the Sharks. Have to give credit to their forwards and Ennis and their halves who took full advantage of some poor decisions and errors. But for us I think it's something we will get better at, our guys will learn to make...

Try writing it in the same condition but an hour or two earlier. Actually, I'd rather read it after drinking because reading it now is pretty tough.

    Moses' miss

I was seated directly behind the try and I think you're being very hard on him. Jordan was placed in a difficult situation, adjusting to the positional efforts a fullback has to make. Jordan didn't anticipate it well, he was watching Barba sweeping and Bird & Holmes out wide, as most of us...

    Moses' miss

It's a tough one isn't it. I'd like to see how Mitchell goes next week. If he kicks well no probs but if not then make the change. Jordan certainly looks like he can kick well, his kick-offs have good height and depth but then again there's a little more pressure in kicking for goal.

    Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

Josh Addo-Carr played NYC last year, has yet to play NRL but he will get the opportunity soon. Jordan Rankin has plenty of experience, is an intelligent player who can play other positions as well if needed during a game. He can also take over kicking duties if needed. I can understand JT...

    Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

Agree 100% with all your points. I have only caught the one State Cup game, when they were thrashed by the Warriors. They dropped a lot of ball that day, it was hot and the Warriors are a very big, mobile team and they put on plenty of points. Edwards had his first run but was definitely in need...

    Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

I thought Kyle Lovett was terrific in the first half plugging the hole at centre when players were shifted around after Teddy went off. Kyle did a great job containing Jack Bird and helped stop a couple of dangerous looking Sharks backline raids near our line. He was only needed for the 12 or so...

    Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

Agree, it's starting to wear thin already. It does make you wonder who is in charge of this. I know YMCA has been played once but come on guys surely a different song can be played each week. And how about getting the microphone around the crowd to give some fans a chance to sing a line or two...

    Wests Tigers Team v Cronulla

I'm not sure if Jordan Rankin is the best choice or not for the wing spot but I am sure that he is a very mature player who gives 100%. He is a player who can shift to other positions should it be needed. He is also a guy who can kick goals and his kick-offs are giving the team plenty of time to...

    The sunny isles of Finalsfootyland.

Well another disappointing loss but is it time to panic, to jump ship? Obviously not, a win next week against an improving Knights team and a win against the Storm on a Sunday arvo at Leichhardt will be the perfect tonic for everyone. And if we do win those games (please, please, please let it...
