Some positives and negatives in that game.
Last year the score would have got away from us. At least we fought back
We looked a much better team with Bateman off.
Sullivan doesn't add much
Sutton killed any momentum we had but we really kept shooting ourselves in the foot.
Will be interesting to see what the official NRL clock said.
On Fox. Clock was stopped at 1.22 when the try was scored.
If we had 80s to take the kick. Clock would stop with 2 seconds left. Should have started again once the ball is kicked.
The Fox clock doesn't ad up. Which as you said can't...
My two questions.
1) Why was the clock stopped when Doueihi was taking the kick?
If we had been kicking to be 1 point behind. I don't think the clock gets stopped.
2) How were the Cowboys able to challenge?. I thought a challenge could only occur once play had been stopped by the Ref
Clearly...
This is pretty much spot on.
Luch and his management requested the release, They have made a number of requests through out the year. On this occasion the request was granted.
This has nothing to do with NQ. All between Tigers and Luch.
The part i would assume is.
NQ say to Luch's manager...
Not a bad draw.
Playing in Canberra first up is great. Better then in the middle on Winter.
Rosters and Storm only once.
Not a whole lot of travel early on.
Garner deal to Manly apparently all but signed off on.
Tigers really trying to free up roster spots, not so much cap space.
Player market could be very interesting this off season. A lot of clubs in trouble with Salary cap etc due to the drop so i have been told.
Personally i think McIntyre...
I see the swap as a win for both clubs.
The only thing that would be ideal is if we can get Momo contracted for 2021. If they manage that i think it would be the perfect swap.
Allows Mbye back at center so we not loosing too much depth in that position and gaining a Hooker. Not a make shift...
Have been speaking with my Roosters contact for a while about LM.
If LM does end up here and not at Souths we will have the Roosters to thank.
They will let LM come here. Straight release. No compensation nothing.
For LM that would mean the 150K or so he has already been paid by the Roosters...
I seem to remember us signing a half back in 2003 with a long list of leg injuries. Ended up being a pretty good signing.
To right him off seems crazy. Teddy came back good. People also forget about Benji and his injuries. Farah has his knee done in 03/04 from memory too
So our Centre stocks for next year are
Mbye
Momo
Talau
Jennings
Chee-kam as a backup
Hopefully Momo can continue to improve as with Talau.
I hope they look at another forward with Esan's money
Been chatting with a guy i know from the Roosters. Apparently Matterson has form with this type of behaviour. He was saying good guy but has a lot of people in his ear.
After chatting to him i went from hating on Matterson to feeling sorry for him. Sounds like he has surrounded himself with...
No club has recruited that well this year. There wasn't that many players on the market.
You may also change your mind if the club pulls of the signing they are currently in talks with
The three kids were always going to have a contract for 2019 it is how the development squad works.
As for Farah and Benji, Didn't Farah come out and say he asked if Ivan was staying??
Can't really blame the club on this one
