With Javon contracted 2027 and 2028, you would think we will need to give him some game time next year, or assurances that he will get a good crack in 2028. Otherwise, he will have no shortage of suitors come November 1, 2027. Seeing how well Latu and Javon have linked up in only a few games...

yeah can quickly see how badly they want it with a train and trial with the nrl boys. I think Taateo could really offer a point of difference to our team/squad if he gets a few things sorted in his game.

The production line of high quality backrowers in the Wahs system is crazy. Laban, Halasima, Fatialofa, Neale and I am sure I have missed some too. Add in that the NRL system had Niukore and Capewell this year too....insane depth coming through all grades.

Benji needs to work out ......is he going to play Makasini as a backup centre for Taylan or as our left winger outside of Taylan in 2027. I think we are getting his development spot on at the moment. Keep him playing Cup rest of this year against men without the scrutiny of NRL. 2027 he will get some time up there.

Great game to be at and watch. A few points... The complete class of Latu was on show. He straightens so well and creates space for those outside him, and is always a threat (run, pass, kick or offload). Him and Andrews in the halves should be given every chance to develop with the hope of them...
