I wouldn't watch again... Started to get a bit boring
I think it'd be a struggle to watch them back to back, 4 straight...
Wasn't that interesting...
Only redeeming part was seeing the COE plans, in my opinion.
Everyone I personally know actually enjoyed it. They liked the concept of it and while I don't agree with it all(their thoughts ofc), they said it showcases the team dynamics and the coach/player rapport as well as player presence - poise and composure etc.,. But the most common thing I heard was that it strengthens the appeal to Madge.
His philosophy, hope and vision for the team was easily perceivable (which we kind of already see anyway) but there's a strong indication of the work ethic and commitment he's trying to build within the group.
Interestingly, Robbie Farah made the best impression with his intermediary skills. I watched that bit but to hear others agree that his ability to convey the right message (for Madge) whilst supporting the playing group during games, shows how he's able to see what makes everyone tick. A few have become fans of him and can't understand why he doesn't have a role in promoting or driving organisational culture.
I agree RE: Farah.
He was definitely a highlight and really showed how important he can be for the club, as expected.
Everyone's favourite Jacob Liddle really appeared to benefit from having Robbie on field really pushing him.
I heard him shout, "80 minute player!"
Words to that effect.
His motivation and mentorship would be amazing for young 9s making grade or trying to find their feet in grade.
Robbie has always been the man.
Not just the hookers mate, we have a bunch of young guys coming through at the moment that we need to build love and passion for the club into. This is Robbie's biggest role for us, he needs to pass on what this club means to him, the fight he showed for it and the belief that they are the players to return this club to success.
