Has anyone actually seen the doco or the article related to it? Looking through this thread there is a heap of speculation, but I can't find anyone who has seen the article or doco. Have I missed something? I need to see it/them before I can give an informed response.

How can anyone possibly be complaining about increased access to the inner-workings of the club, in any format? The off-season doco we produced a few years back under Cleary was very good, if comparatively short, and this can only be of high interest and information to league fans in general.

I've watched the Tottenham series; there are several others on NFL and Premier League teams, all make for compelling viewing when you actually get to see what footballers and club officials really go through day-to-day.

Anyone on here making snide comments - there are several of you - pull your heads in. You ask for more transparency, more innovation, more access; club goes ahead and takes this novel step amongst all league clubs, and all you can come up with is mockery. You must really wonder how much of a compulsive cynic you are.

I wonder if it also keeps News Ltd off our backs for a while, given that Steve Crawley's equally slimy brother didn't mind heaping on us last year and I haven't heard from him in 2021.

Some fans don't really care about this off-field stuff any more, and wonder when our near on decade finals-less sojourn might end.

That's fine; let's not have any of those disinterested folks come into the thread and bash the club for an innovative step.

I think they should be able to say what they like about it? We all have unpopular/negative opinions on particular topics.

it's made for TV, it's going to have a lot of fluff.

There will be some accurate parts of it that will be backed by "how they tried to improve".

I have said it from the start- this organisation is improving but all other teams improve faster than us.

No you inferred that the club is admitting that they are an NRL sideshow. I simply said you could do both, win football games and let someone film a doco.
