I regret watching this. It shows Madge in a bad light when he addresses his team in the dressing room and whilst he is watching the match. There are young kids watching this program on TV and Madge lets loose a continuous procession of swearing. His persona becomes worse after the team lose and his swearing intensifies. Not a good look for youngsters who want to reach a level in rugby league without feeling intimidated by the coach.

what looks even more soft is censoring the swearing..the program is rated M... if u dont want your kid to watch it dont let them

When was that. Madge censored himself when someone’s young daughter was in the change room.

The weird thing was their was young kids in the room at the time ....why bleep it out in that case

Anyone who thinks Madge doesn't care or isn't passionate ....

Just buy the bloke some quality players ......PLEASE ......

Not sure of the general consensus but just finished it and it’s embarrassing as a supporter of this club. Madge is trying horse-whisper plodders into players. The box looks amateur hour...I mean why couldn’t the trainer stop play when stef was injured. Blokes playing on phones? Ex-refs getting two calls wrong when questioned about on field calls? Whats badge offer? Pascoe is just lord of cringe. Water of a ducks back is easy when you’re not held accountable hey Justin?

As a supporter of another club I would watch this and my thoughts on wests would be confirmed. Such a misstep to get involved in this.

Exactly,,,, they should at least have done some research on pro sports organisations in order to get their ducks in a row to at least superficially try to look professional before agreeing to be exposed by a documentary like this .. Madge has no assistants or professional help by the look of it , just a bunch of hangers in yes men that don’t really inspire in any way shape or form.. Madge doesn’t seem to have any direction ,,,, the entire set up looked so depressing and unprofessional that I cannot believe what I just witnessed.. I must be missing something, that bunch just seemed content to be making up the numbers ….. I am so confused right now ! ☹️

He’s a gun statistician apparently. That’s why he’s in the box . He feeds the coach all the numbers .

Some players must be giving him back handers to fudge the figures ?

That muscle shirt Pascoe chose to wear??, Madge talking up rubbish, polishing a turd really. Mbye looks like he plays , no intent and no commitment , just a PC bullshit artist pretending to be a first grade footballer trying to win the premiership! Seriously the club has no desire or character in their staff,,, they just look content to have a job and be part of the scenery , just also rans . I hope I’m not being too superficial but I just saw nothing at the club that suggested inspiration or excellence at all…. It looks just so bland

Spot on. Good organisations accept constructive criticism and aim higher. Our CEO just publicly dismissed it. He’s too casual and I think the reason we aren’t taken seriously.

Who cares man seriously . He’s not that good . The dogs will still be crap next year . It will be TPJ running it up for every third game, to for 30mins a game Paul Vaughan , to ….. no one. That pack is beyond dismal even with those 2 additions , and Elliot had 5 good games last year to take 5% of their cap now . Plus they paid 10 blokes ludicrous money to fit into 7 spots in the backline . They still don’t have a dummy half , or a fullback.

Thompson, Pangai and Vaughan would walk into our forward pack. They’ve also signed Dufty to play fullback.

Anyone thinking we’re in a better position than the dogs next year is kidding themselves

He's a very good stats man and provides information to Madge straight of the computer he doesn't need to be jumping up and down like a lunatic his job is to provide stats

Any chance that this whole season , was designed too have us get hammered around the middle of the season , blow up and almost fall apart , only for us to rise and make a run toward the semis to close out the season ?
Would be pretty compelling TV . Just putting my conspiracy hat on .
Also has any team that’s ever been followed by a TV crew been any good ? Or is that the point , and like a car crash , that’s exactly where the producers look for a story ?
Tottenham , Sunderland , hard knocks etc.

Thompson is garbage mate . No way . And Vaughan is Tamou . A great front rower from a few years ago . Do you even watch the dogs . Thier forwards do not go forward . It is literally the reason the lose , as thier backs are pretty good , and on par with most of at least the bottom 8 teams .

Mate Thompson is not garbage. I’d advise you to watch the games more closely. Averaging 136m a game and literally the only guy with go forward.

And Vaughan is a million time better than Tamou. In his last game he ran for >250 metres. It would take Tamou 5 games to get to that number.

I do watch . He’s not good for the money they’re paying him. Tamou ran for 150 this week . I don’t see it sorry . You just hate on this team so much , you talk up the wooden spooners . It’s crazy to me . But whatever . For a game changing front rower he doesn’t seem to change , or even influence any games front I’ve seen . He’s definitely not better than Uto , and I rate Joffa higher . If Mika can sort his defence out , he’s better as well . So yea I don’t see it .

Just finished watching it. Quite enjoyed it.
Good quality production and it is nice to see that it is presented straight down the middle.
Pretty clear Madge is hugely invested while some of his players lack basic commitment to doing their job.

While I liked it, it was a bit too much of a YouTube reactions video for me. I would have liked to have seen more in-depth look at training leading into the game, looking at video sessions etc. Maybe the hard discussions between a player and coach. It was a little too focused on gameday for me. I was hoping for a little more gritty like NFL Hard Knocks.
