‘It’s the truth’: compelling new WT doco

In hindsight,Madge set himself up to fail by losing all the experience in the past year or two and investing in Brooks,Tamou and Mbye to lead the team forward
Big mistake on all 3 unfortunately
Add to that some mediocre assistants........
...full support of the board...

Certainly seems like away from first grade, things are going great.

COE looks awesome! Funny that this is happening around the time Sheens comes back on board. One of Sheens' last pressies before his sacking was "we need a new gym" LOL

The most disappointing thing for me was Tamou in the sheds vs Storm. He looked a clueless first grader. Our captain was lacklustre and devoid of ideas on how to get his team back on track. The same goes with Brooks. Says a lot when Mbye is the one barking orders. Sad.

You can see why one of Madge's first acts as coach was to appoint Mbye captain. People say he looks disinterested but he's usually the one talking behind goal posts along with AD.

Offa has a nice family

Definitely had their battles, family life definitely appears to have settled his off field issues.

oh was Yvonne a producer, fair play

It was her show basically

Didn't see her on the credits.

She was on the credits and also the one behind the camera conducting all the interviews.

Yep, he's no leader and no captain.
Seeing Mbye talk was quite good then Tamou chimes in with, "Yeah! Let's not turn on each other" after Mbye already said all that.

Very weak.
He should be tapped on the shoulder in the off season, has no real purpose to the team.

I think it was a pretty gutsy for the club to open up to this and they should be congratulated for being front runners with this.
It gives me some hope having watched the doco series, and even though we as Tigers fans wanted to see more in depth stuff and more behind the curtain, in the end the rest of the viewers need to be entertained and aren't that invested in the ins and outs of the club and players as we are.
So after seeing this, I am prepared to be more patient with the building process and I am more willing to hang in there and support this group - rather than just want to throttle them and sack the lot!

Club still pretty far away the show highlighted none of our halves should be there. AD, Brooks Mbye not good enough.

We essentially going into next year with new halves no continuity in key positions.

Some positions have become clearer but a lot left to fill.

My takeaways:

COE looks fantastic and is a very important step moving forward
Pathways programs look like they’ve been well thought out
Confirmed my belief that Brooks is the worst decision making half in the NRL (“let’s target the tallest winger in the Nrl with bombs!”)
Tamou is as inspiring as a week old lettuce
Moses Mbye, although a shockingly overrated player, was the one guy who probably tried his best to change things. Clearly doesn’t listen to himself, can’t defend at fullback.
The short dropout against the Warriors may be the worst play in the NRL this year. Should have won that game.
Pascoe has the roughest head in Australian sport. Certainly the worst haircut.

Yeah it was warts and all, but did leave me with a feeling that we will get there.

Also not convinced some of these juniors madge is banking on will work out.

Off course they won't all work out however how many of the "well known" players we have signed for big money have worked out?Think of a number below 2

Agree, our halves never worked out during season. Big issue.
