People are just completely writing season 24 off because Luai arrives in 25 and that solves all our concerns…
Fkn madness.
How we go in this season directly relates to how we perform in 25. If we have a terrible year, no one steps up from the juniors, don’t recruit well…then Luai will make bugger all difference.
This season matters and far too many are negating it’s importance.

No idea. Im just curious who the 17 would be. I like Pole as a front rowet rotation.

They have this year to impress but 2-4 i think we need to get ourside help.

Richo seemed like 2024 will be a rebuild year. Which is fair enough because it would take a miracle to make finals after B2B wooden spoons. For 2025, recruitment for centres and other needed positions is paramount

Kit Laulilii is my pick at lock. Twal, Pole, TDS and Samuela on the bench. Latu at 5/8. Backs Olam and Bula at this stage.

I'm not convinced. For a big guy he got man handled in the u19's Origin.

His best chance is to be as mobile as possible and play off the bench as an edge backrower and cover for injuries in the centres.

He has good skill, so if he can get a bit more powerful he will be ok.

I really think Pole can have the same impact from the bench that Spencer Leniu does, which can go a long way to changing outcomes and swing momentum massively.

Yea I agree we need people in 2025 who cart the ball up strongly, who are workhorses.
But I don’t think we should ring Matt Bell, he wasn’t that good

Now do you think he is not a good coach or are you just angry about what transpired ?
And given he’s won 3 premierships in a row wouldnt you like to have seen what he might have done for us ?

Not writing it off. Hopeing for 8-10 wins,improvement in defence and attack but im not expecting much more. 2025 might not be the year we make the finals either but its a good start with those players alone.

Champion @Halbrowne61, what Mr Cleary has achieved at Riff since leaving us, to me, is immaterial to what he did to our club.
I can remember the highs of what we all were anticipating in our club's revival (so we hoped), even dreaming that the club would sign his son.
Doing the dirty and then, on his return to Leichhardt, and treat Tigers' fans in the manner he did, blowing "kisses" - this wipes him off for me.
