Even if they weren’t, it would still be very unlikely to get permission and approval from the NRL and government to get a stadium for themselves.Of course it's not gonna happen, everyone on the board are either Wests or balmain people.

Correct, so playing at sub standard grounds is the answer?Even if they weren’t, it would still be very unlikely to get permission and approval from the NRL and government to get a stadium for themselves.
Since no other teams use them as home grounds but us, for now it is a yes. We will not make a home out of a stadium other teams have already made as homes.Correct, so playing at sub standard grounds is the answer?
For now? As you said we're not getting one for us at all. So we just indefinitely play at venues way below standard to most of our competitors. We're going backwards and there'sSince no other teams use them as home grounds but us, for now it is a yes. We will not make a home out of a stadium other teams have already made as homes.
I said for now because while I don’t see it happening, it could still happen but it is unlikely. Dogs and Souths have Accor, Parramatta has Commbank and Roosters have Allianz. How do you expect to make a home out of these grounds when they’ve been playing out of these grounds well over 15-20 plus years? For now? As you said we're not getting one for us at all. No leadership in the joint to make a call.
Someone once said, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now.I said for now because while I don’t see it happening, it could still happen but it is unlikely. That’s why they want to move permanently to LO and CSS. It’s the only real chance they have to make it a home. It might work it might not, but using a stadium that no one else uses is what a lot of the fan base has been crying out for ( apart from premierships and finals). While one home ground would be nice, sharing a stadium isn’t the answer either.Someone once said, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now.
They made those grounds a home by playing there full time. We've never done that, so will never have a home ground.
Maybe. I can only go off a few decades of evidence at hand.I want 1 home ground as well but LO and Cambo are better alternatives then what you suggest.
Well they could pick one of our home grounds. But they are making decisions for Wests and balmian. That’s why they want to move permanently to LO and CSS. Yes, they are holding us back.Well they could pick one of our home grounds. But they are making decisions for Wests and balmian.
Stuck in the 90s.
If someone makes a decision to only play at Campbelltown or Leichhardt we would lose half our fan base almost instantly.Yes, they are holding us back.
That’s not the gotcha you think it is.So you guys aren’t happy that games are being played at LO & Ctown again because we’re stuck in the past & lack our own identity but then suggest to play our home games at stadiums where other teams have built that said identity you are craving?
It is for us.Commbank isnt bad is it?
Without them there's no Wests TigersWe have no identity because the club is still tied to Balmain and Wests. Old people still refer to them by these names.
We need to piss them off. Forget they exist. They are the albatross around our neck and the chains round our ankles.
..and that’s the whole problem.Without them there's no Wests Tigers
Can you detail the makeup of that board over the years please?Wests nor Balmain's past are holding us back. Nor is Campbelltown or Leichhardt. It's the board. The Wests Tigers Board and their acceptance of mediocrity over the years.
That will be nice for them.I welcome having two home grounds. When we get our shit together on them they will both become fortresses.
