Pythagoras.. Lol

I reckon JT and Robbie has the makings of a cracking Shakespearean melodrama

"go now… But for your not wanted here "

Shakespeare didn't write any melodramas…...... Just saying

We won by Pythagoras….I love it...

Now if you add in Full Moon wins we be playing next week..

mock it all you want, its a better predictor of NFL champions than actual wins. :unamused:

This season

Sorry, but we were a crap team and if Pythagoros had played for us we would still have been a crap team
If were 0.0052 % better on the first Saturday of every month during the 2001 season. It has no bearing on next season.
Unless some of our players play better, and our coaches coach better, we will still be a crap team.
But grab another straw if it makes you feel better.

never said it had anything to do with next season. i said it was a better reflection of how we performed this season.

now, if you wanna talk about next year. i'd be prepared to wager we'll finish above 15th

Pythagoras scored some great goals for AEK Athens

The only thing we came very close to was the dreaded Wooden spoon. 😱pen_mouth:

Ain't that the truth. :unamused:
I hope that wests tigers are never in a similar situation again, of having to rely on points +/- to save them, from the wooden spoon

That is a massive improvement from last year. I really can not find a single reason to suggest we won't win the minor and major titles in 2016.

IMO opinion the team did finish last ..points differential means nothing to me Last is last look at the table points Last Last ! no use trying to cloud the issue bottom of the table boys and girls!

I have to agree with snake… last is last!. At the end of the day we finished with 8 wins such as the knights and its less than last year. Which means we went worse or backwards.. Simple as that!.
'Defence improved'. great!.
But we won the least amount of games. And with our recruitment philosophy (as well as our finances) we will unfortunately come last next year too!

Well, Well!
Now half the Forum get berated for being positive.
It is not all about numbers and position on the ladder all the time.

If the other half of the Forum "the negative" side choose to cry in their beers or slash their wrists because the WT are so bad, have the worst coach in the NRL, worst administration and half the team are plodders - good on you, that is your opinion.
Why are you constantly trying to tell the "positive" side of the Forum we should think like you? That we accept mediocrity, that we don't know what we are talking about, that we can't see what everyone with any sense can see - we are hopeless!!!

You people want to get a grip - you have been crying on here all season - if it's not the plodders, it's the coach, it's…..

We can all see their are problems - if I give reasons, you say they are excuses (like having no money).
However you come up with great ideas like - Buy Bellamy or Hasler - WHAT WITH!!!
Buy a first class experienced centre and back rower - WHAT WITH!!!!
Whilst we, say you "accept mediocrity" - you are "Living in a dream world" - all pie in the sky stuff.
I say - if you peeps can't see any improvement in the team as a whole, in some of the young players we have, the administration of the club and the S and C crew there is something wrong with the way you are viewing the game.

Trouble is you want the pie but you want it now.

Hillarious post Russell…thanks mate needed the laugh. Let me know when your next special is being filmed I'd love to be a part of your audience.

Don't antagonise Stryker. Russell is entitled to his opinion. You are not entitled to belittle him for it.

The subject of this post was only to highlight the very small points difference between teams which finished between 11th and last place. Each and everyone of these teams, joined by teams which finished in 9th and 10th place, were out of the running in the week before the finals began. A week into the finals they are joined by teams which finished in 7th and 8th place. Last season Cronulla finished in last place but are still well in the running to win the premiership. The 2015 season is over for Wests Tigers so why do we keep dwelling on it when we have no control over it? Leave the 2016 and beyond prospects over to the people who are paid to run the club.

Haha … Good post mate ... I'm in your camp.
The best run clubs are always in the semi's ... Brisbane, East, Cby ... And the worst run clubs are at the bottom ... Parra, West and Newcastle. We have finally got our house in order off the field. The results won't be seen next year ... The tangled mess created by previous administrations can't be fixed that soon. But the year after I'm expecting a significant improvement. We've been hamstrung by the toxic Balmain Magpies in fighting and a joke CEO in Grant Mayer. We just need to get our home grounds sorted out for 2017 and our salary cap problems in 2016\. Once that's sorted, we should be on to level playing field with the other 15 clubs. Then it becomes a building on the base that's been built situation. The club looks like it's going to survive .... But gee whiz it was a near thing :unamused:

Why do people keep saying we finally have our house in order off the field?
We have done no better on the field and faced as many dramas off it - from the start of the year to the end … and beyond.
