15th Place

a lot of things to work on.

hope the players are disappointed- then only we will know if the accountability issue is still there or not.

Years of no accountability are not rectified within one season

Many of ''those'' who pushed for a change of coach, CEO training staff, player personnel ALSO have been saying it will take **SEVERAL seasons** to right the wrongs that have been allowed to fester under previous admins

Only a fool would expect instant success

Several Seasons ???
And that's acceptable is it :unamused:

It is what it is.
You can harden up and just accept it, or continue to throw tantrums

Undoubtedly if you adopt a youth policy it can take a while for the side to develop. The problems with youth policies is you need patience and theh are very risky. You waste 2
or 3 years on players that never develop like you hoped they would.

Next year will be better. I don't expect a top 8 position but will be much improved on this year. We have a genuine number 7 next year in Brooks. he will be great but im sure he will make a few mistakes along the way too. Robbie needs to stick to the 9 position and forget running around like a 7 next year. Teddy looks great just need a 6.

Watching lui last night was difficult. If only he stayed and did not do what he did, we might have been a different team with a different outcome. Unfortunately this, the signing blair on big money and missing out on luke lewis brought sheens undone. Nevertheless there were signs that this young team will grow next year. Famous soccer coach cludio Ranneri aways said a team is like a person. You start with a boy and as he grows hopefully he becomes a strong man that can dominate and win, but this takes time. Tigers with all the changes still a boy. will take time but geez we got some real postives this year. Simona, Noafoluma, brooks, koro, siro, Nathan brown, ava and of course Teddy.

I'm cautiously optimistic about next year and beyond. I'm not expecting a premiership next season but to be competing for one in the not too distant future would be nice. People have to be realistic with their expectations. Hasler had instant success with the bulldogs because of the roster he had; Pritchard, Kasiano, Barba, Graham etc. Robinson was an instant success because the Roosters forked out shitloads of money for Maloney, Jennings and, of course, Sonny-Bill. It is unfair to compare Potter's situation to theirs.

…. And so ends another disappointing season.

So much for those who thought all we had to do was change the CEO and the coach.

Oh well, we have to pin our hopes on Luke Brooks if we are to improve next season.
I can't see top 8 next season however.

Did you expect an overnight change?

If you can't see that the changes being made are positive ones, you aren't paying enough attention. Pointing at our place on the ladder is short sightedness at its finest.

yup.
i used to think a lot like "guest" at the start. but they don't have the youth coming through that we have. dogs and roosters won't be at the top for more than 2-3 years- aging players, money hungry superstars etc. comparing this to manly/melb you can see that they're at the top for this long because they keep investing in their juniors (for melb it's just billy/cronk/smith)

Board changes won't stop missed tackles.
Board changes may improve selection of coaches players but for me the sacking of Sheens last year was a mistake. At the end of the day his adoption of our unorthadox playing style gave this club a cult identity and premiership we probably wouldn't have achieved otherwise.
Now we are starting from square one we have lost that cult status that media identity. It is a more conventional way that most here wanted for years but 2005 wouldn't have happened this way and it is a path that failing a successful rise of our junior requires alot of money to bankroll success like say Easts have done.

if we make 7 or 8 next year it would be judged as a successful year

Who ever's team it is Potter said when he came in all guns blazing and got most of the players offside that he would pick players on form….Yet he never did that.
Spence and Bell don't deserve to be anywhere near a Wests Tigers jersey.

they won't be in 2014!
