One of the things that has always intrigued me about the 1988 Grand Final is - why wasn't Terry Lamb suspended for his hit on Ellery Hanley? It was blatant, it was the most important game of the year and it ruined our chances of a title. It set a dangerous precedent. Anyone who has studied that match would have seen Farrar run through Scotty Gale (a 7 pretending to be a centre) to set-up the dogs tries.
Just another example of us getting the rough end of it at the sharp end of the season.
1985 - Schofield try ruled forward pass then Farrar running length of field to score (Dogs eventual premiers)
1988 - Terry Lamb incident (Block suspended for remainder of season for a high shot on Chris Mortimer in the mid-week playoff vs Penrith for 5th)
1989 - Harrigan bullshit (we got cruelled by him in 2nd half, inventing reasons to give penalties against us)
2010 - The great scrum robbery (first scrum against the feed I have seen in years)
