2 points but...

We really didn;t do the simple things well.
Found Burt on the full with just about every long kick.
Made far too many simple turnovers.
Bombed a lot of very good attacking opportunities.

Thankfully parra were atrocious tonight.

We did what we had to do and got the 2 points but we could have been so much better. Hopefully the attitude improves through to the finals.

I tend to agree but when you are on a long winning streak you will have some flatter games where you are just doing enough to win.

If you watch the storm who are by far the most consistent team at the moment they have had quite a few flat games throughout their 12 game winning streak but they are getting the job done.

I wouldn't be too worried we will step up a gear come the finals.

We were not great today. But it is hard to get up for these type of games. As it will be the next two games. As long as we bring the A game come finals (history suggests we will, WT have never played a poor finals game) we will bne ok.

i think we did what we did last week, cruised.

we did what we had to do to win and turned off.

im not too worried, i think the boys have what it takes to stay switched on when we need it.

Agree. Despite the lapses by the Tigers, they were able to kick it up a gear when they needed to and most importantly no major injuries were sustained (although I note that Lui had ice on his leg and Gibbs had a cut knee late in the game).

i think lui's ice was precautionary for the cork he suffered, then ran off earlier in the game, when he was kneed chasing a grubber.

I think we were probably in 2nd gear today, still not playing at top speed, but winning well enough. It'll leave a bit left in the tank come finals time

Considering our usual performances against Parra who usually beat us hey I'm happy.

2 points closer to top 4 spot.

What's to gripe about. Enjoy the moment

We never hit top gear and still comprehensively won. I find this to be a good result because teams that play at top gear all year are likely to come apart when they're required to do that bit extra to get over the line. Manly falls into this category. They're playing at 100% every week an nearly got trumped by the Eels and Pamfers. Bulldogs gave them a scare today before laying down in the second half.
