Daz annoying all & sundry, Unco-vell drilling goals between the uprights, Linco;n cutting down blokes x 10 his size, Pearson at halfback running the show, Gravy going to be the next big thing and turning out to be not much...it wasnt that bad

All I can say is I remember enjoying the footy back then because there was little expectation.

Im the same CB, there was no expectations at all. After a promising start to the joint venture in our first 15 games there was very little to get excited about over the next 3 years. i used to get more enjoyment out of a win back in the day then i do now. If the Tigers got within 10 of the big boys, Brisy, Easts, Melbourne, Manly I also counted that a pretty good day out. It wasnt until 2004 that i could see that spark we needed and that came through the astute purchases of hasbeens and wash ups. We need a few of those buys for next year
